This is a cover for a zine I'm helping with. It needs to be in black and white and will be 5.5" x 8.5".
I like the main checkerboard graphic/workmark in the top 3/4ths, but I feel like something is missing. It doesn't seem busy enough to be a traditional magazine cover, but not clean enough to look like a book cover. Any advice would be appreciated!

I'm looking for a new mattress and, dude, the mattress world is complicated. I just spent an hour reading about mattress drama, coil gauges, microbubble density, dishonest advertisers, etc. (big thanks to u/Duende555 for all the crazy in-depth info). I now know I want a medium, memory foam mattress that has cooling of some sort. But I still don't know what mattresses to consider.
So my question for all the knowledgeable Mattress Mamas and Doze Daddies: What mattress brands do you generally think highly of?
They don't necessarily need to make your preferred mattress. I just want to know which brands are honest, make high-quality products, and don't get a lot of complaints or returns. Thanks so much!
And if you work for a mattress company and comment here pretending to be an unbiased mattress lover: I hope you have bad dreams for one year. And I hope you wet your bed.

Students wanted to explore different, less well-known styles of art. I made these to briefly introduce new artists and styles. It's more of an appetizer than an entree. It has a bit of history, a few examples, and small blurbs about the unique characteristics of that style. An off-topic personal question: I'm looking to teach private art lessons in Kansas City. I know it's a long shot, but do you know of any studios or places I could look into joining?

I'm not sure if there is a term for what I'm looking for. I would love to find a Workshop Creation that is a nicely landscaped park for me to start building from, but is mostly empty of buildings and such. Like the campaign maps.
The usual blank maps are kind of overwhelming for me. So I would love a map that has enough to get me started.
Do you have recommendations for these types of maps? Thanks!
