Hi all. Where can I get a full list of trim levels for the BMW i3 including interior spec and also factory accessories like traffic assist, H&K, Sunroof and so on? I want to see exactly what spec my Panda is and what interior it has. (Basically just what you call it)
Hi all. A quick question regarding i3 support in coming years from BMW.
- How long before BMW will stop supporting the i3 for repair/maintenance and parts?
- When BMW stops, will there be 3rd party available parts.
- Tire situation. How long before tires stops being manufactured? And when that happens what are we going to do to get tires?
- Motors. Is there 3rd party motors available or only OEM BMW motors? Will the support eventually stop on them as well?
The reason I am asking all this is because I plan on keeping my i3 for years to come and when the day comes that a motor or battery decides to die, I would love to still be able to buy new parts and keep on driving my Panda

Hi all. Just a curious question as the i3 doesn’t have services based on km/miles and only time based. Does km/miles really matter on an i3? If I were to buy second hand would the km/miles be a factor?

When booting up the AppleTV it works perfectly. But after I watch a show on (any) streaming app and then power the AppleTV off and then later turn it back on to watch again the video feed freezes the moment you click on the show you want to watch. The is resolved after a restart.
What would cause this? I have already swapped out HDMI cables

My CarPlay in my 2020 i3 is not full screen. On the left I have my normal CarPlay and then on the right I have the BMW iDrive software. Disabling split screen in the iDrive simply takes away all info from the r/h side of the screen but the CarPlay still only takes up half of the screen. Is there any way to go full screen?

Over the weekend, I test-drove the new iCaur V23 EV here in South Africa. It’s a sub-brand of Chery and comes packed with features, including a large centre screen, comfortable seats, and a claimed range of around 400 km.
Personally, I’m not a fan of the styling. To me, it looks like a Jeep and a G-Wagon had a child. That said, I was impressed with how it drove. Road noise was minimal, the ride felt solid and composed over bumps, and overall it felt well-built. I only drove it around town, so I can’t comment on highway performance yet.
As with any new car, everything feels tight and refined, so it’s hard to judge how well it will hold up after a few years of ownership. Time will tell.
After the test drive, I jumped back into my six-year-old BMW i3, and all the emotions of owning my first EV came flooding back. There is just something special about the i3. Even after six years, and despite a design that’s been around for well over a decade, it still feels fantastic on the road.
The iCaur V23 impressed me, but if I had to choose, I’d pick the i3 every single time. There’s just something about it that no other car seems to replicate.

We all know the electric motor is connected to the rear wheels only. So does that mean regen braking is only done with the rear wheels? As in when I lift my foot of the accelerator only the rear wheels slow me down. Does BMW also let the front brake discs brake or is it purely regen?
