Traffics and Discoveries, Rudyard Kipling, 1904 first edition

Another one to add to my small collection of early, Macmillan Kipling prints (And my wider Kipling collection)

1904, First Edition, Traffics and Discoveries, Rudyard Kipling

A lovely example, to go with my collect of early Macmillan Kipling prints (And my wider Kipling collection). The Two Jungle Books is First Edition, Soldiers Three is second, I believe. 1893.

Anyone who has the time to resd a short story, I'd suggest They, by Kipling. A very sad tale, sadder still if you know of Kiplings life.

Is Aspirin actually to go-to painkiller on America?

I didn't see an Aspirin tablet until I was a grown adult. My parents never hsd any in the medicine drawer, ot was never mentioned on TV or film, it was never given to me by the school nurse.

Bur, I always knew what it was, because it seems to he mentioned in a lot of American media.

In the UK, as far as I can tell, Aspirin is taken by old people to help their heart. No one takes it for aches and pains, for that we use ibuprofen.

So, is Aspirin Really that popular in the US?

My (small) collection of old Kipling

A copy of The Two Jungle Books, early 1910s, and a late-1800s copy of the Soldiers Three collection. The pages are perfectly legible and healthy. Both covers are marked, but the Soldiers Three is still tremendously vibrant, as is the gilt on The Jungle Book.

Just purchased a 1904 issue of Traffics and Discovery's (Mainly for the tremendous story "They"), which should arrive soon.

Both are Macmillan, as is Traffics and Discovery's.

Physical pain from body tics

I'm wondering if anyone else has this trouble? My OCD manifests in a lot of physical tics. The core tics that are always with me cause no issue, but then I also have tics that come and go. For a few weeks it could be having to position my fingers a certain way, doing the same with my arms, etc.

But sometimes they're a bit more problematic. I once had a neck-jerking tic for a good 6 weeks that left me with ridiculously tense and pain ful shoulder and neck muscles on my one side for a few months.

For the past few weeks, it's been tensing the one side of my oesophagus. This is causing pain, quite a bit.

Anyone else had something similar?

Most affordable way to collect literature from the early 1800s and before?

I have a minor collection of "old" literature, but would Like to get my hands on stuff with some real age to it.

What are my options, and what money can I expect to spend? I'm in the UK.

Fluoride vs Hydroxyapaptite for sensitivity and enamel health

Which would you recommend? A 10% Hydroxyapaptite toothpaste, or a high-fluoride toothpaste?

As I say, the aim is to improve enamel health and reduce sensitivitym

I currently use an airbed. It's not very comfortable.

Are there any good alternatives? It doesn't need to he packed down for transport, so doesn't need to fold or deflate. I like a firmer mattress.

Suppose I could get an actual mattress, but I think a single would be a bit too big, and I want something that would be easy to clean.

Just bought a copy of said book. My main desire is to be able to recite Middle English verse

What are some good online resources to pair with it? If it makes any odds, I've never learnt a language other than my own.

The book is second-hand. The previous owner has made notes, but these stop after about Page 60, which makes me think thatsbwhere they gave up. I hope i can make it a little further.
