Why Won’t Files Appear Open When Clicked On?
I think the other day when I was opening files, I accidentally write clicked on some specific setting that is affecting this. I don’t know if it’s trying to open them on a second screen that isn’t available, but regardless clicking on the Files no longer has them open on my screen, even though the icon at the bottom seems to imply that they are there, even if I can’t see them.
It’s an HP 24yh monitor with a Beelink mini S.
Restarting the computer and leaving it turned off for a while, hasn’t changed anything.
[TOMT] [SONG] 90’s song chorus that says “Aggravated”
The only thing I remember about the lyrics was during the chorus a line ended with “Aggravated/ing” and the following rhyming line sounded like “some have stated” but I really doubt that second line was that.
I vaguely remember hearing this song when I was little so likely in 90’s but there’s a slim chance it was early 2000’s.
It was a female singer.
My family listened to a lot of contemporary Christian singers at the time so there’s a chance it could’ve been one of them.
Pawbert t-shirt with sweater print!
My friend got this for me from Etsy and I LOVE IT! This is a long sleeve t-shirt with the sweater design printed all over it. While I still want an official Pawbert sweater, I’m in southern USA where I don’t have much use for a sweater. I’ll be able to wear this on brisk days in fall. I’ll be interested to see if anyone out and about recognizes it.
Am I the only one who would have MUCH RATHER preferred if Nibbles had actually been the twist villain?
I’m not saying the motives would work without being tweaked a bit, but I feel like the red herring and the real twist had the complete opposite effect on me from what the movie intended.
When I first saw this in theaters with my friend, I leaned over to him during Pawbert’s introduction scene and said, “I really like this character, but I’m really hoping they don’t turn him into a twist villain.” I liked how amusing, likable, and relatable he was, but I worried it was a narrative front for something bad. (It was)
Nibbles, meanwhile, was a character I probably would’ve been fine with at first, but started to find annoying once I realized she was sticking around for the whole movie. So for those brief seconds where it implied Nibbles had locked Nick out, I was SO happy, not just because I was totally fine with her being a traitor, but because I legitimately did not see it coming.
Then, a second later, when it showed Nibbles letting Nick in, I sank into my seat with a feeling of foreboding, dreading what was about to happen. Sure enough, the instant Pawbert stabbed Judy in the neck, I shouted an expletive in the theater that I’m hoping none of the little kids in my screening heard.
I had plenty of problems with Z2, but I honestly think that if they hadn’t gone the route they did with this twist, I would’ve still found a way to say I had fun with the movie. The fact that the movie briefly teased me with an option I would have loved before immediately going in a direction I hated just made it worse.
Now, ideally, I think there should have been NO twist villains at all, especially since the movie already had villains we were dealing with. Spending time on the twist just meant taking more time away from Gary, who I found kind of underwritten. Honestly, both Nibbles and Pawbert felt more fleshed out than Gary did.
Heard this in public and I was able to record just a bit of it, but it's not enough for my Soundhound to figure it out.
