You ever have one of those Mondays where you look around and wonder what the heck you’re doing? It’s already 2 pm and somehow you’ve been simultaneously busy while also accomplishing nothing. I mean, you definitely accomplished things that make you stand out in the world, but nothing that would make your younger self go, “Wow, you’re cool.”
I spent the afternoon driving from one side of the city to the other, going from meeting to meeting. I took a detour to avoid traffic and ended up stuck on a back road for a minute. But there were trees, so that’s a win.
As I sat in the car listening to Bad Astronaut and making inappropriate acronyms out of the G Wagon’s license plate in front of me, I remembered there was a really weird sandwich shop a couple miles away. So once traffic cleared, I made my way over there and got one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a while. Easily top five. I was a little late for my last meeting of the day, but a good sandwich waits for no man.
If you said “yes” to any of that, I love what’s wrong with you already.
A little about me. Rapid fire, because it feels appropriate. I’m obviously impressed by a good sandwich. I’ve got a sense of humor and enough wit that will have you simultaneously falling in love and wondering if you should run for the hills. It’s all about balance, darling.
I’ve got a career that looks great on paper and I vibe well with people that have that part of life figured out too, but still have the “I wonder where that dirt road leads” left in them. If you get this, we’ll get along just fine.
In regards to my looks because that’s what really matters. My mother says I’m pretty but she also thought TY beanie babies were going to outperform the stock market in the 90’s so I’m not entirely sure her judgement is something we should be leaning on too heavily.
Anyway, if you’re a cool, interesting human with a dash of weird, let’s talk.
