USC Viterbi Appeal Admit
Hey everyone,
I recently got into USC Viterbi for Spring 2027 Mechanical Engineering through appeal, and I’m trying to figure out the best use of Fall 2026.
I’m an international student from India interested in robotics, AI, and entrepreneurship. A lot of people suggest community college, but that’s not really an option for me because equivalent transferable courses aren’t easily available where I live.
For current/former Viterbi spring admits, especially engineering students:
- What did you actually do during fall before starting USC?
- Was it more worth it to do USC's study abroad or washington dc program as an engineering student?
- Did you feel behind socially or academically when you entered in spring?
Would really appreciate advice from people who went through this.
