I lost my unbound save file when my phone recently broke so I'm starting a new run. I've put probably close 200 hours into two playthroughs and used a ton of different mons but was looking to get some ideas of some lesser-used or underrated gems.
I plan on breeding a lot once I get the 6IV ditto. Play through on difficult or expert.
Is there anyway to change the difficulty to hard mode mid game? I didn't choose that at the beginning and didn't realize the trainer and wild pokemon leveling would be so low lol. I've been switching members of my team in and out but my team is way too over leveled. Just beat wattson and I've got too many mons around level 24-25 while the trainers west and north have like level 17 teams. I'm just rolling thru everyone and was looking for a bit more and wouldve chose hard mode at first if I knew the differences would be this much.
Really got into breeding on this NG+ run... The Porta pc and being able to change moves anywhere was super helpful along with the perfect I ditto for breeding. It was hard to choose who to take. Probably could've made some better choices as some of the Elite 4 gave me some trouble, last pic is my box with every Mon I had trained up to a high level.
I've always just been attack only, hardly any Stat boosting/reducing moves, terrain, gimmicks, etc. so it was interesting to play a little different but now I'm hooked. Gonna try out expert and really hone in strategy but going to build up some BP at the frontier for a while.
If a Pokémon has been given Max Powder to get its gigantamax form, does the gigantamax form stay on the Pokémon if carried over to NG+?
I've tried searching but cannot find anything about this. Might be a dumb question but was just wondering.
What is this Pokémon? Checked with the magnolia town guy today and I cannot find what this thing is. I tried googling black Pokémon with yellow jagged stripes and round but it kept coming up with umbreon and electabuzz/electavire or whatever. I've looked through my Pokédex and must just be glossing over it but I have no idea what this is.
What an incredible game. The story was a little goofy at times but I give it a pass because the rest of the game had me hooked. I mostly played Gen I and II as a kid so being able to actually be able to train a ton of different Pokémon easily felt foreign. I ended up with nearly 350 pokedex entries and an entire box of usable Pokémon that I rotated in and out.
What shoule I go for or do first in the post-game?
