New player and just received the game today. I’ve been playing solo and having a blast! I tried several games with The Legacy Virus scheme and Magneto but was getting slaughtered by the combination. Once I switched to Bank Robbery I found it much more enjoyable and flexible.

I have a feeling I’ll be getting many hours of enjoyment out of this one… and just thought I’d share.

Edit: Final score was 29… which is probably terrible. I counted Mystique as a scheme twist instead of a villain since she escaped, which was the more punishing choice.

Excited to give this a try tonight. I had been thinking about getting it on and off over the years, but when I heard about the second edition I decided that now is the time.

The added expert mode of masterminds, special bystanders, and special SHIELD officers convinced me there would be plenty of replayability.

Played my first solo game of Wingspan Pocket today and really enjoyed it. It’ll probably be my go to Wingspan because of its quick and easy setup and playthrough. Time will tell if it gets stale though, since the combos are more limiting. But two thumbs up so far!

Edit: Oh and I managed to win my first game but just barely: 47 to 45. 😬
