New turtle beach update

so with this new firmware update making 3rd party wheels disconect the pedals, if i've completely stripped down the original velocityone wheel for the quick release (followed a tutorial on youtube i can send if anyone wants it) and ive been using that qr on a 3rd party wheel, will that still disconect the pedals? like how does the firmware know youre using the wheel and disconect the pedals, and since im using the qr thats on the original wheel, will it still do it?

Button plate and wheel compatible?

Will this Simsonn button plate and this gt wheel be compatible? as in will the holes line up for the buttons and dials, they look like they will on the bottom section but the top looks a bit out of place just, wondering if anyone has bought either of these products, the wheel looks like it was made for some fanatec base but it looks pretty similar to the Simsonn one, thanks.
