Is copying a pose 1 to 1 ok or something that should generally be avoided?

I always try to pull from multiple images when making poses to put my characters in, but I was wondering if I was just being too anal? I noticed an illustrator I follow posted a short where you can clearly see the pose is basically the exact same. Outside of the pose, even the camera angle, weapon type of choice, and the type of clothing being worn (capes with skirts that have big petticoats under them) are really close. The reference wasn't credited either (I thought you were suppose to when it's this similar) and I probably wouldn't have been able to tell if I didn't already know the series the original image is from. I thought I had read before that you should try to put a spin on references, but was the advice I read wrong? Am I being too particular by bashing poses together and trying to change the angles instead of just doing 1 to 1 references? Do you not have to say where you got the ref from when it's really close either?

Hope this isn't a dumb question.

Who is the guy that dances at Yonge and Grosvenor?

He comes a few days a week to dance near the stop lights. Is he just a random street act? I'm from Markham so I'm not use to just seeing people randomly dancing on the streets. I've honestly felt like a country bumpkin after moving down here.

Is scheduling also bad at the progress campus

The Story Arts campus is driving me insane. Is the schedule also made by chimpanzees on the Progress campus where there are like six hours between the only two classes you're taking in a day? Then you go home at butt fack PM while hoping you don't get stabbed on your hour long commute.

is this a Centennial thing or is this just the college experience?
