I genuinely feel like we need to scale devil fruits separately than the users, and when scaling users take into account how they use it.
Example slow-slow fruit is the second strongest paramecia* due to it allowing foxy to get a near unlimited combo on his opponent. If literally anyone else had it they would he crazy. Shanks would call it a divine deportation to the edge of the universe.
The swamp-swamp fruit has an unlimited pocket dimension which can store people if they are grabbed in it.
The jacket-jacket fruit allows the user to control the body (and df) of the person who is wearing them. Kuma's fruit is the concept of push. Paramecia fruits are the weakest type of devil fruit mind you. Even the power of springs is insane, a single standard truck spring can support 3,300lbs of force without ware. Making the "fodder" spring-spring fruits weakest end still being enough force to destroy walls.
Oda tends to balance devil fruits by giving them to bad users or giving zoans to them since zoans have their own wills and can nerf their users if they want to, or buff their users like with kaku since his favorite animal is a giraffe (he had the fastest from eating to awakening of any user in the series of 2 at most 2 years).

Now look at the swirls of his eye brows, and look at the swirls of a devil fruit. They are the same swirls. Now, the kuina-zou rebuttal is nonapplicable in this situation for the reasons being. Kuzan and kizaru are not swordsman even though they use swords, fujitora is a swordsman and uses devil fruit empowered swordsmanship. Daz Bones only uses his devil fruit and is still a swordsman. Big mom is arguably not a swordsman due to her sword being alive. And I'll argue Law isnt a swordsman due to him being more like a surgeon using a massive scalpel instead of using it like a sword. Also mihawk uses an oversized kriegsmesser which is a German dagger and he is literally called the world's strongest swordsman so that makes it very clear the fact that a sword is involved does not make or break a swordsman. Mihawk also used a tiny knife against zoro too. Whitebeards naginata (translates to mowing sword) is one of the supreme grade blades known as the strongest swords. So will you guys help me get to a good definition of swordsman.
I like music and I want to like music so if I dont get it at first I like to try my best to understand especially cause people were talking about how good his music was and i was a fan of che (still am, che>>>>>carti in my extremely subjective opinion. Also dont take this as a diss to carti i love his music and was bumping wlr when it first came out, its a compliment to che.). I think its Speed Gil (faster than light), Kizaru (light speed), blackbeard (off screen), then Kuro at faster than perception. What do you guys think? Kizaru is light speed since he is light, and can never exceed it. And during marine Ford kizaru sent a light speed laser at Speed Gil and he after the beam started moving saw it and then moved where as everyone else in marine Ford moved preemptively to dodge his attacks and during egg head he was moving slower than light cause when someone asked oda he said kizaru can just choose to go slower.
I feel like so many people forget what underground means. They are treating it like indie and punk. Indie means independent as in a singular artist not signed to a label. Underground means not popular artists who are counter to the mainstream and in opposition to the mainstream and labels (which labels are mainstream). Punk is political. Why is everyone treating this shit like its a sound not a state of being. You guys even music fans or just here for the aesthetic?
So many ug artists call themselves punk or say they are punk influenced but they dont say anything political its just like sex, money, and drugs, (i love that kinda music too btw) when punk is inherently political. Because music has always been a massive part of resistance and identity of people, and so co-opting that feels disrespectful especially in this day and age when punks are needed more than ever, if you say "it's just music" you obviously arent a punk fan. All of pre time skip takes place over a couple months, actually the time skip is longer than the time the strawhats spent together. So you do not have much time before Luffy will arrive at Logue town to train. And as Oda says usopp's power cap is that of a regular human (you) so all of your physical capabilities would most likely be close to base usopp. But you maintain all of your knowledge from here. What do you do? How do you scale?
Usopp has a skill with lying, and blackbeard is a coward who will pull out when it is in his best interest. And so usopp will be able to play many mind games with blackbeard to help control the battlefield and how he would respond to even dummy attacks. But the biggest win for usopp is the fact that in Punk Hazard he got sea prism cuffs, and as we all know sea prism counters devil fruits, but what would it do to a multi fruit user? So all he really needs to do is slip the cuffs on his wrist and then blackbeard will go down and then just throw him off of the boat.
As a fruitless pirate he was a rival of garp and rodger prior to retirement, and the slow-slow fruit is just that good.
