Vizag folks, what’s something everyone pretends to understand, but nobody actually does?

Genuinely curious… Could be about life, work, people, relationships, Vizag itself, or literally anything.

Let’s hear your most honest answers.

Got ghosted after she found out I’m Christian

I was talking to a girl I met on Reddit for around 10 days. She texted me after my post about hanging out, and we started getting to know each other. Everything was going well, we even planned where to go and what to eat.
Then I asked, can we move to Instagram. She asked for my handle, and a few minutes later asked, “Are you a Christian?”
I said yes and asked if she had a problem with that. No reply. I sent a couple more messages, and she completely went silent.
Honestly, I wouldn’t care if she simply said she wasn’t interested. That’s totally fine. What bothered me was the sudden change after finding out my religion.
Maybe she has her reasons, but it just made me wonder is this discrimination based on religion, or simply a matter of compatibility?

Weekend getaway, zero plans😅

No plans this weekend, so thinking of a little getaway to escape the usual routine. Looking for some company M or F, doesn’t matter. Just good conversations, food, exploring, and killing some time with good vibes. If you’re also bored and up for something spontaneous, hit me up!

Ended a date midway after what she said. Was I overreacting?

Met a girl from a dating app recently. We decided to go to the beach, so I picked her up. Things started off pretty normal.. we were talking, getting to know each other.
On the way, she said she wanted dessert, so I took her to Sweet India. She ordered her favourite dessert, took literally two bites, left the rest, and I paid the bill. No big deal.
As we headed towards the beach, the conversation took a weird turn.
She started saying things like “Guys in Vizag are so cheap. They don’t have money. They just pretend they’re rich.”
Then she went on about how she’d worked in Delhi for 5-6 years and how “Every guy there is rich, drives big cars, has huge bank balances… every guy you meet is loaded. It was awesome there.”
She kept comparing men in Vizag to the guys she met in Delhi. I didn’t argue or defend anyone. I just listened.
After a few minutes, I turned my bike around, dropped her exactly where I’d picked her up, and left. Didn’t say bye, didn’t explain, nothing.
It wasn’t about the money. It was the constant generalising, looking down on an entire city’s people, and sounding like someone’s worth is measured by their car and bank balance. That completely killed any interest I had.
Was I too impulsive for ending the date right there or would you have reacted the same way?

P.S: Sorry about the long post
