Thanks to the poster about putting chicken over broccoli

Hi all - not 100% sure it was posted in this sub, but I think it was. A week or so ago I read a post from someone that was eating broccoli and chicken every night from the air fryer. They put the broccoli in first, then put the chicken on top. Oh my - Genius!

I've been a dolt and cooking my veg first, then the meat and the veg is cold by the time the meat is done.

So for the last week, I take a cup or so of frozen broccoli, equal parts fresh squash, spring onion, rotate the meat and Voila! Put the veg on the bottom, and the meat on top at 400F for 10-12 minutes and it's magical. A little olive oil to get things started, plus meat juices dripping down over the veg just makes everything taste better.

Meats so far are frozen salmon fillets, thawed thick pork sausages cut in half, and thawed beef mini sausages whole. Looking forward to all meats, this is just what I had on hand.

Clean up is also easier because the veg on the bottom keeps the plate cleaner from the meat.

Thank you kind internet stranger for sharing your method!

2013 New Issue of Doors Automatically Locking

About a month or two ago, my 2013 model started locking all doors when I had not pressed the button to do so. At first I thought the button had been accidentally pressed, but it happened 3 or 4 times when I was parked in the garage , and I don't lock my car in the garage.

Last week, it happened when the key was in the ignition, (car was off) and I had rolled down the driver's window because of this. All the doors kept re-locking when I unlocked them from the driver's side switch on the door.

Also, I hear that double lock sound now sometimes when I get in, like the one you hear when you start driving and it locks all the doors, and I see the double flasher on the dashboard when the flashers are not on. I'm not sure if that denotes the Panic Mode because I've never used it. Is my keyfob messed up?

Can't find anything pertinent in the manual, but it could be that I'm using the wrong search terms?

Anyone else have this happen and how did you fix it?

Edit: I still haven't figured out what's going on, but it might be my remote battery is dying, so I've ordered some new coin batteries that will be delivered in the morning. I found this website helpful so posting it for anyone else that might have similar problems.

For context, I've recently discovered Sgt Curtis and AR Police Activity high speed chases, and I live where Trooper Byrd is king! So, this got me wondering, if on the off chance that I am unlucky enough to be in the path of a high speed chase, where the idiot criminal is swerving in and around cars on a highway, what's my best reaction for the safety of the persuing troopers/officers? Should I stay where I am in the lane so they can go around me?

I've seen videos of high speed chases over 100 mph where the speed limit is 65. I'm very diligent on looking left, right and behind when I'm driving, but at that speed, it would only be like one second before they are behind me.

I only ask because a long time ago a police cruiser came up behind me very fast on a city street, lights and siren on. I was in the left lane and I froze. He got on the speaker and said Pull Over. I did, and I've never forgotten that. I've seen a lot of comments about Why don't people pull over? I'm like maybe they just froze up like i did.

I'm sure the odds of me being in this situation are very small, but it kind of bugs me because of what happened before, and now that I've seen it, I can't unsee it.
