Magnum BYO brake line failure

All, I need help/options. I did the extended damper rods for an 05 sportsportster I just got to be a little hooligan bike. Problem is, I've only found that goodrige will make a set with a longer lower section. Plenty of options for taller bars, but not longer tubes/extended damper. I went with Magnum's BYO line, because everything else I've gotten from them is awesome, but 3 out of 6 compression fittings failed! Anyone have experience with these? 2 stripped out prior to locking, and one straight up cracked, which makes me unsure of the other 3 that appear to be engaged. One other note, the 3 that are locked still allow the brake line to rotate around the male end of the fitting, is that normal for these? AN fittings would have been much better than this proprietary stuff

Is my rear muffler blown out?

Picked up this sporty last week, and the exhaust is crappy sounding. With my hand behind the exhaust to feel it, the exhaust gasses slap out in singular distinct puffs from the rear pipe. The front pipe hums along, and the gasses come out evenly, puffing along smooth. This video is upon warmup, with the enricher about half way, and you can hear two individual exhaust sounds. Motor itself runs and sounds nice, but the exhaust when riding still sounds terrible, and you can hear the rear one sounding cheap and poppy (not actually popping, though there's some on decel).

First carb sporty: What should I check before buying?

Dyna bro seeking help! I have a 2016 48 as well, but I want to pick this carb sporty up for friends and family to ride when they are in town. So it's a 2005 1200...with 59k on the clock. I'm aware of the differences in eras, and do specifically want an 04-06. I don't have the vin to verify what it started life as, but it appears to be a mish mosh. My question is what should I look for, having accepted that the isolators are toast lol. Any specific noises, electrical issues, or symptoms that raise flags? The tank appears to be from a custom, motor from a roadster, and front end from an older sport(?), so I'm assuming it's a roadster that's been upgraded. I'm curious what the sporty experts are worried about at first glance. Thanks all!

Huge flowering maple isn't coming back, is there a chance?

My flowering maple (red tiger I believe it's called) was once huge and awesome. It dropped a lot of leaves last winter, but then came back strong. This winter it completely wilted and looked terrible, after a friend was watching the house for a couple weeks. It was looking like it was going to come back, and was getting new growth, but now it has gone back to looking like this for a month or so. Can it be saved? I'm going to try and repot, and prune (need advice on how far to go with that too). It gets constant indirect sun during the day and soil stays moist but very well drained. It's watered every two days or so, and there's no signs of any fungus or disease. It has always done well in these conditions. I really want this huge plant to come back, as I've never seen another anywhere near this size. For reference, it's Abt 6.5 feet tall, and 3 feet wide.

Thanks all
