Anyone able to tell me more about this trumpet?

Found a trumpet. From looking up it seems like a world war 1 military trumpet but looking to see if anyone can shed light on it?

Producers - what was that episode? *spoilers*

That was the most awkward, badly produced episode I’ve ever seen.

Very strange/bad editing. What was that transition from simba explaining why he picked Mica+Sam to Maya abruptly announcing herself leaving?

What was with the weird and stiff, almost scripted, scenes islanders sitting having a can?

The dancing was so awkward and the way it was edited made it look like you were watching teens at a disco. So so strange.

The entire episode was an experiment gone wrong and don’t recommend it again.

Name two books. One is your most used and a second is your most beautiful.

We all have books that we love to sift through because they have beautiful photos or story and we have those potentially less beautiful ones that are our go-to’s for solid reliable recipes that we come back to.

I’d love to know what are your top two books for each category?

I’ll give it a go…

  1. Most used: Kenji’s Food Lab. I almost always find my answer there for anything new I’m trying.

  2. Most Beautiful: Dishoom. Not only are the recipes I’ve tried absolutely delicious but I love sifting through it the most. Reading the passages and eyeing the photos.

Anyone else see ‘SKEM’ in graffiti everywhere?

Going on the train to work and I’m seeing ‘SKEM’ I think just about written EVERYWHERE. I wish I didn’t see it because now I can’t unsee.

Anyone know anything behind it or is it likely just the same person? Not the most aware when it comes to graffiti culture.

Your favourite *diet* cookbooks

What are the best low fat, low sugar or low carb, optionally 1 person meal type cookbooks that don’t compromise on flavour and they use lots of varied cultural flavourings like (soy sauce, mirin, miso, etc etc)

Need to go on a diet but my meals use too much oil, butter, salt, pasta and too much sugar… I can’t get off the wagon. So I’m looking for some guidance on a book I can focus on to lose weight that still has interesting recipes.

Zone 9A - am I doing something wrong?

Bought a Japanese maple two weeks ago, it was green when I bought it.

I repotted it into slight bigger pot and have kept it watered. It’s quite sunny now but had it in partial shade. Daily temps are 10-15 degrees.

What am I doing wrong and does it maybe need a bigger pot??
