Worrying about breaking my girlfriend… lol

Idk if humor flair is quite right, but did any other sapphic bisexuals here start feeling huge in stature after dating a woman for the first time??

Lol hear me out. I know this is so ridiculous.

But for years I dated a man, and being in a WLW relationship for over a year now, sometimes I still haven’t gotten used to is that I feel gigantic in comparison to my partner.

She’s 4 inches shorter than me, so the height difference isn‘t super different. But my hands feel massive, especially when I hold her face. And I’m worried I’ll crush her when I sit on her lap.

I’m not actually “worried.“ I know shes a grown woman. I’m not trying to patronize her, so don’t come for me in the comments lol. I guess it’s just in the back of my head like ope maybe I’m hurting her 😅 - which I’m not; she has said so numerous times.

This is just goofy and I’m wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences dating women for the first time??

I’m looking for some new going out options.

Now that I’m in my late 20s, I’m realizing I don’t want to club alongside mostly college students.

I used to go to the Go Go, but I’ve noticed that the crowd there is younger than I thought.

Any suggestions on where friends and I can go out dancing and be in a little bit of an older crowd?

I’m sure there are older posts about this, but with how many businesses have been coming and going I figured I’d ask again.

TLDR - suggestions for bars with dancing that are better for late-20s/mid-30s?

I’ve had my neon Pothos for 4 days, and I have some questions.

  1. What‘s up with the yellow leaf?
  2. What are those small black dots? They don’t feel raised at all.

Context:

I’ve repotted her in a pot that’s probably a bit larger than the recommended size (photo attached).

I repotted her a couple times in the past two days, actually. Once when I first bought her (from plastic to terracotta), another time when I dropped her pot and it shattered :’), and another when I briefly removed her to amend what I learned was hydrophobic soil.

So, Oopsie, her first few days in my care have been a little rough.

Watering:

Now she‘s watered, her soil - to my understanding - is damp enough but not soaking wet. (I.e.: I don’t think dryness or root rot is a problem, but I don’t want to pull her out again and just stress her out some more if I don’t have to.)

Light:

I’ve got her in front of a west-facing window for now, while I’m out of town. But I’ll have her in an east-facing window when I get home in a few days. I’ve also got a grow light (idk what kind; I got it from a garage sale), about 10-12 inches above her. Because I have been reading that neon Pothos need a lot of light.

She has a couple new leaves (!!), so I don’t think I’m completely failing lol.

But I’m not sure if the two things I asked about are stress related from all the reporting or issues coming from the conditions I’m providing her.

TIA!!
