"Our channels are run by humans, not computers!"

Someone tell Pluto that that is only a good thing if those humans have ANY IDEA what they are doing. Most are clearly not fans of the shows that are on that channel, and some just have no clue how to scheduled TV in general.

Case in point...The Incredible Hulk marathon that has been going on all week on the Universal Action channel. Shows Part 1 of a two part episode...then shows 4 random episodes that aren't in any order whatsoever, even jumping to different seasons. And then 5 hours later, it shows Part 2. Who does that even benefit? Certainly not the viewer. But I can't figure out how it benefits Pluto TV. Far more people are going to assume the Part 2 just isn't being aired (like with so many other multi-part episodes on other channels where only one part is on Pluto) and stop watching altogether.

Maybe computer curated schedules are better after all.

Wade Collins DID have a point about one thing...

If you are literally in the middle of filming a music video, you don't stop just because Spencer brings in a damn puppy. Wait until the filming is over and play with it all you want. But to literally stop in the middle of filming IS what hobknockers would do.

What if they didn't make the matter bridge self sustaining?

It seems like, at least in Brain Storm, the real problem was that it was designed to be self sustaining, siphoning off some of the energy it created to power itself. So what if they just DIDN'T design it to be self sustaining? Turn it on, get a good amount of energy out of it, while supplying a much smaller amount, and then when it starts getting out of hand, simply pull the plug. Then start over.

I think Rodney and Kid in the Hall could make that work, if only they worked together. As long as honorary doctor Bill Nye doesn't get in the way.

Degrassi's writes must have been bullied by jocks in thigh school

The more I think about it, the most ridiculous (and pretty disgusting and insulting) it was how there was not a single POSITIVE representation of sports on the whole show. At least in the last half of the show. Yes, writers...many people have a very positive experience from sports. So to have all these examples of football bullying with Jane and Riley, then KC being preyed upon by a basketball coach, then the hockey team being assholes, hen the basketball team with Luke and Neil then the Power Cheer team Degrassi Nudes stuff, and finally the volleyball racism. Hell, even Shay stealing from her best friend to buy PEDs for track!

even things like the ridiculous scene of theater nerd Eli beating up junior hockey captain Dallas and and more ridiculous Alli beating up Bianca (not on a sports team, but still more athletic) shows just how anti-athlete the writers were. They couldn't put aside their hatred ad bias for even ONE storyline of a student having a positive experience with it. Even though most people have great experiences with it.

Why DIDN'T the Replicators become the weapon the Ancients wanted to create?

What caused the Replicators to NOT be effective Wraith killers? So bad that they totally gave up on the weapon completely? They never really explain why. What caused the Replicators to not kill the Wraith originally? It wasn't the Wraith changing their code yet. And even if it was, the Ancients surely were as smart as Rodney, even if he may not think so. So if he could change it back, the Ancients could as well. Unlike Rodney, the Ancients wouldn't have had to do it in secret.

Imogen's fashion show

We hear Becky over the loudspeaker telling people to hurry and get their tickets to the fashion show. But then later in the episode, Simpson tells someone to make sure the students realize the fashion show is not optional and they have to attend.

So does Degrassi force students to pay for events, even for students that will in no way benefit academically from viewing it? Doubtful that is even legal. And even if you want to try to come up with a convoluted excuse like "Well, it is mandatory, but you still need tickets hat are probably free" there is NO WAY a school would have a mandator assembly and not only require tickets, but make the students have to pick up those tickets on their own. A school assembly would just be to show up. Or at the most, you would get your tickets in home room or something.

The writers couldn't seem to make up their mind as to whether this was a mandatory school assembly or a fun little extra similar to a basketball game or a play that you have to buy tickets for.

Is "Export frame" for a video no longer on device?

Edit: Never mind...I found it. But that brings up another question..why does Google love putting things behind extra taps? Export frame used to be right there. Now they force you to tap a camera icon (without explaining that anywhere) to bring up the Export Frame option. They constantly take things that used to be one tap/click and making them 2 or even 3 or 4.

Did they really take away the ability to export a frame from a video unless you back up? Are they THAT desperate to get people to pay them every month for their cloud crap? Used to be quite easy. In fact, it used to be really annoying to have to go past all the "key frames" suggestions. But now, the Export frame option is not showing up for me at all. Is it really because I don't back up to a tiny cloud amount since I have 10 TB of storage on my computer?

Cadman was an idiot....

So she is trapped in McKay's body..and he is TRYING TO SAVE HER LIFE! He is probably the ONLY one that can figure out how to do so. And needs concentration to do so. And yet she still acts like a damn 5 year old literally screaming PAY ATTENTION TO ME! preventing him from thinking about saving her.

Call me crazy, but I would rather be ignored for a couple days and live than be blinked out into nothingness because he couldn't come up with the way to get her out in time.

[TOMT] Flash game soccer of the 2000s

I am trying to think of a game that was similar to both Jumper for Goalposts or the Volley Challenge game. In fact, it had that same game mechanic where the ball was passed to you from the left side of the screen and you had to move your player and time your kick to coincide with the pass ball being in the right spot to kick it toward the goal. However, this game had other game mechanics as well, like passing which I believe was a simple bar going left and right and you had to click your mouse (or press space) when it was in a small green section. If you got it, it would be passed to a teammate for a different mini game, such as the aforementioned goal kick off the pass. If you missed, it went to the other team.

A "game" consisted of you reading the highlights of the game in a ticker style text animation until it was time to do a mini game. This also is similar to Jumpers for Goalposts, but it was not that. This didn't have a career mode where you bought cars or houses or tried to get a girlfriend. Although I do think it had standings.

During that one mini game, if you hit a defender with the ball, sometimes they would say "funny" things in a comic like speech bubble like "Oh my piles!" or if you were playing as Arsenal, it would say "Arsenal is log!"

All I can find on various flash repository sites IS the Jumpers for Goalposts and the Volley Challenge games. But not this one that has extra game features. Does it sound familiar to anyone.

I wish Zoe had spoken up whenever someone brought up Drew...

At least two people claimed to her face that she had "had sex with a random guy" at a party before when questioning her about Luke and Neil. First that horrible "friend" Frankie, and then the defense attorney in the trial. I just kept waiting for Zoe to point out that Drew was NOT a random guy. He was her boyfriend. It may not have been the best relationship for her, but it WAS a relationship (at least to her) so to act like it was anything even remotely the same as Luke and Neil was crazy. And if Zoe was to intimidated to point that out when on the stand at the trial, then her lawyer should have objected on her behalf. That definitely could have swayed a jury toward a not guilty verdict. It probably DID until Becky's testimony made it clear that Luke knew she never said yes.

the screen capture reaction video selfie feature might be useful if...

They should allow you to do it while recording videos..not just screen recording. Why not Real Time reaction videos. As you are filming something, you can also see yourself in the selfie cam.

Not that it worked al that well in my test. I looked like a weatherman on St. Patrick's day who wore a little too much green, and had dyed my hair green. Definitely did not pick me cleanout out of the background. But it really should have been a no brainer to have this in real time when recording videos. Even if maybe it mean the main video was only 1080/30. But I really don't think we need to give people MORE incentive to destroy YouTube with low effort reaction videos. They are only a half step above AI slop in terms of how badly they are ruining YouTube. It is one thing if the person reaction has some knowledge on what they are reacting to. But just some moron saying "First time watching Airplane!" is useless. Especially when they forget it is their "first time" and they start quoting lines before the characters do

Why was Ronon so confused in Runner?

We see Sateda. They had a pretty advanced society for the Pegasus Galaxy. We hear loudspeakers blaring warnings of evacuation, etc. So why was Ronon SO confused with Sheppard's walkie talkie when he was holding him and Teyla hostage? Even if Satedans didn't have walkie talkies specifically, he should have been that confused over tech that is similar to what he knew.

How do I get true to color pictures?

I know it is a cheap 7A phone, but how can I get pictures that are actually the color that they are supposed to be? I took this photo of a very yellow sky. Google, in its infinite wisdom said "Hmmmm..aren't skies supposed to be blue or gray?" and arbitrarily turned it into a bluish gray color. Even the RAW file came out the same. The yellowish photo is from a Canon camera that quite frankly ALSO isn't true to just how yellow the sky is. But at least it shows off what caught my eye and made me take the picture in the first place. What settings should I change because this is not a picture at all. IT is a Google reimagining of what the camera sensor took in. And when I tried to get the AI to fix it, it just turned it bluer, even when I told it is should be more yellow.
