I have the biggest crush on my coworker and it's becoming a problem.

I started a new job a few months ago and somewhere along the way I developed a crush on one of my coworkers. The annoying part is that I wasn't even looking for one.

He's attractive, confident, funny, and somehow keeps getting even more attractive every week. Every time I think I'm over it, he does something small—cracks a joke, walks past me, or we end up talking—and I'm back to square one.

Nothing inappropriate has happened. We work together professionally and I keep things respectful because I know dating coworkers can get messy. Still, it's hard when you see someone almost every day.

Has anyone else had a coworker crush that eventually went away? Or did it actually turn into something?

Men, I need honest male perspective.

There’s this coworker I’ve had insane chemistry with since day one. Flirting, tension, lingering hugs, hand holding once, subtle touching, all that. He’s attentive, protective, masculine, respectful when I say no, and genuinely caring. I started catching feelings a little.

BUT recently he secretly took a photo of my camel toe while I was sitting down in leggings. He deleted it immediately when I asked and said he could tell I was uncomfortable, but he never actually apologized after.

My attraction dropped a bit after that because it crossed a boundary I didn’t expect him to cross. Still attracted to him though, unfortunately.

Question: was this just him getting too comfortable/flirty and being stupid, or is this a red flag about his character? Would a genuinely respectful man do something like that?
