Extended Bolus

I do extended bolus a lot for fatty foods but the frustrating part is if i decide i want more food during the delivery window I have to cancel bolus and somehow recalculate everything accounting for what’s been delivered already. Any advice??

Extended Bolus

On Omnipod 5 I do extended bolus a lot but the frustrating part is if i decide i want more food during the delivery window I have to cancel bolus and somehow recalculate everything accounting for what’s been delivered already. Is there another pump that doesn’t have this problem. Mobi or twist??? Any advice if you use O5 how do you do it, what if you decide you want desert mid bolus. Maybe I’m overthinking this perhaps

Auto vs manual

I’m on the Omnipod 5 and the algorithm is not strong enough for me so tend to be in manual mode most of the time. This is what helps me, keep my BS is range. Just wanted to put this out there for any newly diagnosed or anyone who is type A about their BS.

What are your experiences or tips???

Tidepool vs DIY loop

Hi I’m currently on Omnipod 5 and I’m just not satisfied with the algorithm. It’s not strong enough to bring my sugars down or keep them from falling too low, resulting in me having to be more hands on with my diabetes. O5 runs hybrid so it won’t bring my sugars down when it’s rising or high on its own is why I’m interested in the loop systems, my question is which one? Feeling very type A i want my numbers to be between 70-100. I do love the no tube though which is why I’m hesitant about tidepool having to switch to twist. But overall I’m focused on algorithms. Looking for insight on any information that will help me choose thanks :)
