so theres this girl in my tuition that sits relatively close to me. yesterday i stumbled across her ig. so today after class i went to her and just straight up asked her if that was her ig. when she said yes i asked is it okay if i follow u there? then she said yes. she accepted my insta follow rq and followed me back. now i need help. did i mess up? and what do i do now? btw im a 15m that was in a boys sch all my life, with barely any experience talking to girls 😭
a stranger messaged my friend on discord with a screenshot, saying smth along the lines of " eh why ur account there did u get hack". he gave my friend a person to consult for this saying he was 'steam support'. 'steam support' tried to ask for my friend's purchase history (to impersonalise him in front of *actual* steam support basically). my friend understandably gets suspicious and asks can he just go to steam support website and the scammer gets a bit aggro. he sent my friend certification links which are prolly virus shit so he didnt click on shit. my friend googled it just to be sure and to no surprise he was right. after he sent over the screenshot of the google page the scammer just gave up and changed his profile back lmfao. basically im posting this as a psa that discord isnt a support platform. support will always contact you on the steam support site. never discord. stay safe out there guys!
