Are there any types of Monkshood, that are not poisonous?
Hello, everyone. May be it's a stupid question, but it sometimes keeps me awake at night... I love Monkshood. It is very beautiful, and I have some sweet memories of it from my childhood. Especially I remember playing with its flowers, taking away the "hood" and making them look like butterflies. A bush of Monkshoods was in my neighbor's garden, and I played with the flowers every year for approximately 5-6 years. But when I grew up I found out, that Monkshoods are poisonous from roots to flowers and I can't find any information on whether there are some types of it, that are not that dangerous. And it bothers me, because I have never ever had any issues after playing with Monkshoods as a child and I wasn't exactly particular about washing my hands, so I definitely ate some strawberries right after touching flowers. So I wonder, how could that happen. I asked my neighbors if it really was a bush of Monkshoods, and they confirmed it, but they've never specified the type.
Also I'm sorry for any mistakes, English isn't my first language.
