I just had my Labret done this morning. I’m currently eating dinner (it’s crisp salad) and every time I chew , I can feel the flat back rubbing against my teeth every time and sometimes it catches on them. Is this how it’s gonna be forever? Or will I learn to eat without it getting in the way?
This is my entire setup so far, all done by me except for my septum.
Some ppl were really mean on my last post, my face is asymmetrical so I can’t line my bites up with my nose, sorry but the Medusa needs to sit in the Cupid’s bow … I’m getting the jewelry upsized again as we speak so will post a pic once it’s done.
Anyway, I did the lower labret today and medusa last week. 1st lobes are 8mm, looking around for 9mm Jewelry. 2nd lobes are 3mm, might be interested in stretching my thirds!
Helix in pic #2 is also a couple months old, still healing and I’m trying not to pick that scab off lol.

Today I got spontaneous and pierced my Medusa this morning. I immediately went to a piercing shop and swapped for a longer bar.
Piercer also gave me a second slightly longer bar if the swelling got really bad, and now it’s just me and my NeilMed spray against the world :) swelling is getting pretty bad now and I may have to switch to that longer bar.
I have gotten my Medusa professionally pierced before , but they hit a blood vessel and healing was impossible so I took it out. My lips are also asymmetrical to my face so the new placement was ideal.
I think it turned out great! It’s impossible to rub my lips together after applying lip chap lmao my lip is too swollen and tender. What do you guys think, is the placement good? Pic 1 is freshly pierced with short post, pics 2 and 3 are with the longer post , about four hours after piercing.
