I put up the armors in my museum a while ago, with fire pits next to them, and then realised the fire was just not visible through glass. I went back into my museum after the DLC update and it looks like they made the glass actually transparent now! I'm pretty happy about this change and hadn't seen anyone mentioning it yet so I figured I'd share :-)

Finally got the new ToD stamp today, and that makes number 750 in my album. Not bad for only having started collecting a year ago :D

For funsies, my stamp timeline:

• 16 october 2024: started working on the scarabs page, because that was my favorite page and I wanted the avatar. Other than that I just sold all the valuable stamps I got and albumed the cheap ones from dailies.
• 10 july 2025: hit 100 stamps in my album from casual collecting, and decided to be serious about collecting now. Bought all the buyable stamps in this month.
• 7 august 2025: finished Battledome page (#1)
• 8 september 2025: 600 stamps in album
• 16 october 2025: finished Sea Shells page (#2)
• 23 november 2025: 650 stamps in album
• 4 april 2026: finished Snowy Valley page (#3)
• 7 april 2026: finished Scarabs Page!!! (#4)
• 29 april 2026: 700 stamps
• 31 july 2026: 750 stamps

Right now I have two pages (Maraqua and Altador) at 24/25, and six (Neopia Central, Lost Desert, Other, Shenkuu, Charms, and Faerieland) at 23/25. I've got several more at 20+ stamps but these are the ones closest to completion. It's a very expensive neo hobby but man I love collecting stamps lmao. It's so satisfying to complete pages ;v; Here's to getting to 800 before the end of the year, maybe!

Here's my post from last year, I figured I'd do another update because why not lmao. It's fun to see progression.

So! Pabyda used to be my lab rat way, way, waaaay back. I made him shortly after my sixteenth birthday in 2007. He was a lab rat for a long time while I hoped he'd turn into something cool, and that gave him pretty decent stats (hp and str). Then the Obelisk war plot broke out in 2013, and I decided to give the battle portion of the plot a try. My boy did so well that I decided to keep him on as a permie, give him a cool paint job (he was magma for around ten years), and keep him as my low effort battle pet. (That is to say, I never did anything else to improve him, just left him as he was at the end of the 2013 plot lmao.)

Fast forward to 2024 and we got another battle-heavy plot. I briefly zapped him again, he turned stealthy, and I stopped again lmao. It was actually the void plot shop handing out powerful weapons that made me want to learn how to play the battledome properly. So on 2 july 2024, during the plot, I decided to finally start training my boy properly. That was two years ago today, and I haven't skipped a single day of training inbetween.

My training included:

• At least one training session a day, often more (2-3 at most)
• Faerie quest cookies (almost constantly)
• Being my active pet (random events, dailies, and especially faerie festival boosts)
• In the final month of the plot: the lab ray again, briefly
• Aside from birthday cupcakes and the freebie NC mall ones, I used zero stat increasers (I am too neo poor for those)

And my consistency paid off big time :-) I'd gone from 'crappy lab ray leftovers' stats to actually being strong enough to defeat the 50,000 HP big bad during the plot:

I'm super proud of my golden boy! I'll keep on training him as I am now. I don't even have any specific goals at this point, I'm just working on his HP while doing faerie quests on the side. Being able to tackle difficult battle content is a super satisfying and fun part of neopets, so I'd recommend anyone who hasn't yet to give it a try! Any pet can become a strong battler with enough time and training :-)

First time I did finish the ten rolls on the wheel since the pool rotated, and I immediately get this whopper 😭 it's been a really good week for me on the neo apps!

But my god every time I have to spend a considerable amount of time on this game I'm reminded how much I hate it LMAO. Took me like six hours of on and off playing (and restarting) to get the coins for bloodhook. For Lumidrax I'd been "stuck" at 95/100 for months, I just didn't want to keep going anymore. At least the coin was easy to get.

Now to do the tower for 50 more days because I learned there's now an avatar for clearing it 150 times....... grumble... still, I'm happy with my stamp and coin and wanted to share lol. Good luck to everyone who's still trying for the stamp or the shell in the current event!

I moved recently, and in the move I found my ancient old hard drive! There was a lot of old neopets stuff on it. I was a regular on neopets oekakies back in the day (if you know what this is without googling, congrats, You Are Old!). I made a lot of neopets drawings, both of my own and other people's. I was around 13-14 when I made these and I was various levels of proud of them lmao. The Hissi and my darigan Aisha (whom I gave wings to, apparently) were what I considered my best. Thought it was fun(ny) to see, so I figured I'd share for shits and giggles :')

People asked me to share when I finally made him so here we go :') the actual character is in the three last slides.

I was a huge Shaman King fangirl in my teens, and poor angry sad boy Lyserg was my favorite (even more so when I read the manga later, I still have a soft spot for him tbh). As soon as I found those two layering green capes while playing with customisation on Neopets, he immediately came to mind lmao. I've been slowly collecting the items for this custom for around two years, and the background rereleasing in the mall was the final piece I needed.

Next came the name. I've been watching the (long time gone) user who has his actual name (Lyserg) and hoping for an account purge for ages, but I figure it's never going to happen anymore. So I went to look for alternatives, and happened to stumble upon this super easy misspelling (q instead of g)... and then grave danger gave me a dragonfly nymph (his spirit companion is a pink fairy)... and then I found the fire petpet to represent his other spirit companion. The background is for his hometown, and the watch for his dowsing thingy. Bonus: today, 17 may, is the character's birthday, I waited to create him until today specifically. I've never put so much effort into getting an accurate custom like this and I'm really happy it's done lmao.

^(PS. I know he's a very hated character among fans, but i don't care i love him okay bye lmao)
