I am subtitling a movie with a topic on underground rock bands to English. During a conversation between two characters, one of them mentions that their father has a "heavy band", this meaning a heavy metal band. I decided to include a gloss, and it ended like this: "He's on a heavy [metal] band."
Do you think this is well done, or with the context this scene is in it's enough for the audience to understand it without the commentary?

Hey everyone. For a week now this has been happening; a folder with the name ".opera" has been getting automatically downloaded to my PC every few hours. It is just one, so if I leave it be, it does not download again until I erase it, then some hours pass and it gets downloaded again. Any idea as to what this could be? It hasn't affected my PC that much, other than it being just a bit slower than usual. If I hadn't been paying attention to this, I think I never would have realized it's a bit slower, but this is starting to worry me.

I want to play some games like Crossed Swords 2, King of Fighters 98/2000/2002, and Andro Dunos, but I don't know if these work on Retroarch or if they need any BIOS? I couldn't find any guides, so that's why I'm asking here.

I'm looking for a sort of jack of all trades. I'm about to buy this Bluetooth keyboard and would love to know if there are any eink devices that are compatible with it and that I can also use as ereaders. I basically want to be able to write and read on the same eink device and do it seamlessly with this keyboard. It doesn't matter if it has android or not, I just want to be able to create my own text files and also have ebooks in the same place. Also please let me know if there is a specific OS or software that could go with this concept.

I genuinely don’t know if this was a fever dream, but I distinctly remember a post from this sub saying that there was a project for a clamshell writerdeck being developed that was going to cost less than $200. I remember its name was Leaf-something or something along the lines. I also remember that it was going to have a leather body? And it was going to be between a laptop and a phone in size. I just can't remember the name. If somebody could please point out the name of the writerdeck, I would appreciate it a lot.

I have collected terminology from many fields, and would love to have a glossary that contains all of them, maybe classifying them by field. How can I do this? Is there free software for this?

Hello all! I'm trying to install some games with Portmaster, but I can't even get past the PM logo at the start. Once it initializes, it shows the logo and after some seconds it sends me back to the applications folder. I'm using an RG35XXSP with the latest MuOS release. What can I do to fix this? Please, any help is appreciated!
