I am 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant and I have anxiety about this pregnancy because I had a chemical last month. My HCG came back at 388 on Monday and then I went yesterday morning and I still haven’t gotten my results back. I have scheduled an ultrasound for today. I am so worried I’m having an ectopic. I just want to see if the pregnancy is located in the uterus. Is it safe to have the ultrasound?
I’m not having a good day because I’m anxious about my pregnancy. I went on Monday to get bloodwork for my HCG and it came back at 388 (I found out 4 hours later). I went again yesterday morning (7am) and I still haven’t gotten my results back. It’s so stressful to not know. I hate Labcorp. I scheduled an early ultrasound for today. (I’m 4 weeks, 4 days).
I’m so confused and wondering if anyone has experienced something similar. I’ve taken 4 Clearblue digital pregnancy tests at home and all 4 have said “Pregnant.” After the first 3 positives, I went to a women’s pregnancy center and they did a urine pregnancy test, but it came back negative.
After leaving there, I took another Clearblue digital test and it was positive again, making that 4 positive digitals total.
I know I probably need a quantitative hCG blood test at this point, but I’m not sure where to go to have one done or how to get one ordered. Has anyone had multiple positive digitals but a negative test at the doctor/clinic? What ended up happening, and where did you go for bloodwork?
I’m just really confused by the conflicting results and would appreciate hearing anyone’s experiences.
