Regarding eligibility criteria for KIIT

I called the KIIT admission cell regarding the 60% PCM eligibility criteria. They told me that having 50% in PCM and 60% overall aggregate in boards is enough for eligibility. But during counseling, they are asking for PCM marks separately, which is making me confused. So, has anyone here got a seat allotted despite not having 60% in PCM?
