This is my first attempt at anything cosplay, I’m pretty proud with how it’s all come together. Still a few final touches needed but it’s solid right now. 99% of the printed parts are from galactic armory, the rest makerworld.
A few weeks ago I posted my helmet and some of my gear, but now I’m proud to present the final product, though some final touches still need some doing.
I recently got a 3d printer and have begun to dip my toes into the world of cosplay. I most of my files from galactic armory, including the helmet and blasters, the detonators I found on maker world. Still printing the rest of the armor but wanted to share my first (mostly) completed props.
I’m curious if anyone has used graphite powder for armor, and the best way to apply. I’ve printed a mandalorian helmet and from what I understand for best results gloss black and graphite powder is the way to go. My main question is the best way to apply the graphite, I haven’t begun yet, I’ve seen people use sponges and fingers but should I wet it at all? Any tips would be helpful.
