Sometimes watching Smosh videos feels like I'm scrolling Reddit, or maybe my Instagram for you page.

Like when you're listening to Smosh Mouth and they repeat a long debunked food myth that Fitness Influencers spread to fearmonger, or when Amanda said they had to get Brie Larson to stand in for Tom Holland's ass, which is an Incel meme about Brie Larson not being sexy enough.

I also feel like a lot of the time, especially with the latest Reddit stories, they get very in to those stereotypical "dumb man no know flowers" type boys vs girls discussions, like Men will sometimes get a free pass to be dumb or assholes because that's how it be and you should talk about it and explain like he's a child and not like you're 2 human beings. I know they're definitely joking in some videos, but it really rides a line of completely excusing some men's actions.

There is also the other side of the coin where they get very "ALL WOMEN ARE QUEENS!" often but honestly I find those less aggravating unless it's a very extreme example.

I get they aren't doing a lot of these things intentionally, but it will feel a little icky sometimes and I have to stop where I am in the video for a minute

Country: USA

Budget: Let's say my loose cap is about $650-700 USD, Ebay is usually my source for tech stuff so I'm used to secondhand prices but if push comes to shove I can break it a little

Refurb: I don't mind, as long as the screen looks good since I do intend to grab an external DVD player

Screen Size: I don't really have a preference, but I do kinda wanna take it on road trips and stuff so like 17" would probably be the max and that's like a "If I have to"

Weight: Same deal, don't mind but hopefully not too heavy

Purpose: My main thing will probably be wanting to play media on it, like streaming and being able to plug a DVD player in and stuff, but I do also want to be able to play games. I don't need to be playing like Skyrim with 300 mods, but I would wanna be able to play something like somewhat Modded Minecraft, probably with shaders. An RTX graphics card if possible would probably be best.

Desired Battery Life: I'm really not picky and wouldn't be away from an outlet often enough for longer than like 7-8 hours really being needed.

Other Info: Since I'd wanna be watching movies, a good screen is definitely important and decent sounding speakers. I'd prefer to not have an colored LED keyboard if it can be avoided, I know gaming laptops like to add RGB. Something somewhat durable would be good since I can be somewhat clumsy sometimes, I try my best with tech but things happen and stuff falls. A decent number of ports would be good, I'd need USBs for a mouse, DVD player, and an external mic/webcam if they don't come with them and I wanna like video call while I play games or something.

I feel like they give half a box of the drops to every location and the rest of the box is just stickers. It's such a bummer, you know they can afford to do more when the drops are near weekly.
