Looking for some budgeting/finance advise

So I make $25.55/hr for a 40 hour work week, this comes out to $36,900 a year after taxes. I don't pay living expenses since I live with my parents but my biggest expense is flight school and the number for that fluctuates really depending on how many times I end up flying a week.
For the most part it's at 2 times a week at a rate of around $1000 a week or so.

The job I currently have is not in my field. I couldn't find anything with the degree I had and I only got this job out of desperation since at least it's money. But with the overall cost of living and getting mowed down by taxes, it's just not enough.

I was wondering what kind of way can I use to maybe invest $100 a week to make my money grow in some way with stocks or assets.

I opened a wealthsimple account and a questrade account but they are dormant and I didn't do anything with them because I'm both afraid to invest and don't know how or where to begin.

Aircraft mechanic and engineer job

Wanted to hear from aviation maintenance techs here if there are any, how is the job market and overall pay? I'm starting a one year degree soon.

Is dutch roll remotely possible to do on a C172?

I know for the most part you need sweptback wings, but can you still induce a dutch roll in your typical C172?

Stupid question but I'm going to ask anyways

So I'm a 26M, I work a stable full time job 40hr/week at a rate of $25.55/hr with flexibility to work overtime going beyond 60 and even 70 hours a week.

I don't have any hard cash for down payment, but would I still be eligible for a mortgage to buy a house?

Do the banks care mostly about a stable job?

I understand that almost everyone got into aviation because the eventual goal is to be an airline pilot, but is being a CFI really that bad?
I get it that it's not an easy job and the pay isn't exactly great, but doesn't getting paid to fly more than make up for it at least? Biggest stress I have as a PPL student is ravaging my wallet everytime I go fly, and while I do dream to be a first officer in a couple years or however long that's gonna take, the only thing I look forward to the most right now is getting my PPL and CPL and CFI rating becoming an instructor and getting paid for my flights.

And this is just an anecdote but my flight instructors and those in my flight school really seem to love what they do. But I still wanted to hear from other CFIs here.

Yeah I get. I'm not gonna buy avocado toast anymore, I'll unsubscribe from spotify, I'll pull myself from the bootstrap and keep working a job unrelated to my field at overtime hours just to save several hundred bucks a month.

But is that it? Is there all to this country now? Ok fine I don't even expect any government handouts and never did I in the first place, but for God's sake can't we have a country with good career prospects and good jobs at good pay? Why are people not more angry about this?

Even at my current job they always abuse us with the way they give us our pay.
