"Scheduled" power outage 9a - 16p, but I received no notice?

Edit: I asked for information about the maintenance, not WFH advice; it's all feeling rather nosy. Since my question has been answered, I'll stop replying to comments, and leave this thread for anyone else who has this issue in the future. 🙏🏻

My partner and I both WFH in jobs handling sensitive information, so we cannot do our work in cafes or open co-working spaces. Our power cut off at ~9 today, and after waiting a while I looked online and found a random website listing our neighborhood as receiving scheduled maintenance untill 16:00 today.

We didn't receive any notice at all, I am even subscribed to my neighborhood alerts from the gemeente. It means we are abruptly missing an entire day work which is a big loss of income.

Am I entitled to notification of disruptions like this and if so, where or by whom?

Visa options for temporary restaurant stage?

Hi! I'm hoping this subreddit can help because I could not find an answer on the UK visa site. My brother is traveling through Europe to do staging at a number of restaurants. These are essentially unpaid or low-paid internships, lasting less than a week each. Are there any appropriate visas that cover this type of position?

Have you consciously stepped back / reduced your output?

I'm seeking perspectives from other performers / creators who have put their sex work on a back burner. I've recently started a new job that takes most of my energy and pays all my bills - yay! this is coinciding with feeling pretty tired of content creation, so it's great timing.

That being said, I don't want to throw away years of hard work. One never knows what could happen after all. My brand needs to have a pulse. 😛 But how much more does it actually need?

Does anyone have experience with downgrading your output online? What was helpful to prioritize or to let go? How did you feel in the process? Did you eventually completely exit, do you maintain some presence, are you still undecided?

My partner and I got our first ice cream maker and have been having a lot of fun. For their birthday this weekend, we had a party with three courses each of homemade ice cream + cake + cocktail. Details in comment!

Anytime I get a new email, the red notifications will jump by 10-11 rather than 1. When I open the app and look at my inbox it will revert to the correct count for a while. :/
