Yashovardhan Sinha - Founder, Chairman and MD of Aditya Vision

Yashovardhan Sinha is the Promoter, Chairman, and Managing Director of Aditya Vision Limited, a dominant multi-brand consumer electronics retail chain based in Bihar. He is widely credited with transforming a single-store family business into a multi-state powerhouse and the first electronics retailer in India to be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Professional Background

Banking Career: Before entering the retail sector, Sinha was a career banker. He joined Punjab National Bank (PNB) in 1981 as a Management Trainee and served for over 20 years, eventually taking voluntary retirement as a Senior Manager in 2008.

Entrepreneurial Pivot: While still in service, he founded Aditya Vision in 1999 with a single outlet on Bailey Road, Patna. After leaving the bank, he focused entirely on the business, leveraging his financial expertise to scale operations.

The Growth of Aditya Vision

Under Sinha's leadership, Aditya Vision has seen a meteoric rise, particularly in the "Hindi Heartland":

Market Dominance: The company holds over 50% market share* in Bihar's organized electronics retail sector.

Regional Expansion: He spearheaded the move beyond Bihar, successfully entering Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh. As of early 2026, the company operates nearly 200 showrooms.

Public Listing: In 2016, he led the company to its IPO on the BSE SME platform. Since then, the company has migrated to the main board and seen its market capitalization grow from approximately ₹20 crore at the IPO to over ₹4,400 crore by 2024.

Key Leadership Traits Customer-Centricity: Sinha is known for the "Aditya Vision" shopping experience, which focuses on after-sales service and customer trust—a strategy that allowed the brand to compete effectively against national giants like Reliance Digital and Croma.

Diversification: Beyond electronics, he is also associated with Aditya Consumer Marketing Limited, which manages supermarkets (Aditya 9 to 9) and restaurants (like Yo! China franchises) in Bihar.

Warren Hastings fled Benaras disguised as a women 💃🏻

Maharaj Chait Singh and his men defeated the Company troops, killed British officers & arrested Warren Hastings. On the advice of Munshi Sadanand they did not killed Hastings and he escaped Benaras dressed as a woman

This incident gave rise to the famous saying :

“घोड़े पे हौदा, हाथी पे जीन, ऐसे भागा वॉरेन हेस्टिंग्स"

My 2 cents for the keyboard warriors 🤡 & also to my fellow Bhunjaars

Look we r a community of barely 3% population and we already have the Samantvaadi/Manuvaadi tags slapped on us with a lot of hate already coming from OBC/SC/ST

Now some UP Brahmans r trying their hardest to bait us again into this caste lafda. I knw some of the ppl behind these handles pretty well. They’ll provoke u at 1x intensity, you guys will reply at 2x (I believe in my bhojahars, you guys can do it really dirty)

And then comes their classic step :

“Look how Bhumihars are abusing us”

They’ll ss ur replies, run to other Brahman communities, pull out the victim card & the same cycle continues. One thing remain constant that They never forget to reedem their victim card at the end

I’m lil bg these days & honestly have zero motivation for these pointless caste e-lafdas, so please don’t take the bait. You’re literally giving them exactly what they want

Also I’ve been noticing what looks like, a single guy running 4–5 different accounts over the past few weeks : posting, commenting on his own posts & then replying to those comments himself. Truly he is a one man army 🫡

I bet some Bhumihar guy must have beaten the shit out of him irl & bro probably couldn’t utter a word to his face. So now he’s online dumping all that frustration instead

When the king of the Holiest Muslim city met the king of the Holiest Hindu city. December 1955 #Babhan_Heritage

In December 1955, King Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia visited Varanasi during a historic 17-day tour of India. He was welcomed in a grand ceremonial elephant procession alongside the Kashi Naresh (Maharaja of Banaras), Vibhuti Narayan Singh near the Ganges at Ramnagar Fort.

The Nehru govt took him in a ceremonial procession on an elephant back in Varanasi. He also visited the Indian Military Academy at Khadakvasala and presented a sword made of gold to its commandant.

A viral Social Media rumour surrounding King Saud’s 1955 visit alleges that Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru ordered local Hindu temples to be covered up to avoid offending the Saudi monarch, however Independent fact-checkers and historians have thoroughly investigated these claims and found them to be entirely false and fabricated.

Baat Jab Merit ki hai toh...
