Why is the medical system so freaking complicated?!

This is mainly a rant/vent but feel free to offer advice or your own stories if you want, fair warning this is angry and sarcastic at the same time.

My physical therapist referred me to neurology for potential cervical instability. Neurology needs to see an MRI of my neck before deciding if they'll accept me as a patient or not, the MRI that they did was laying down so it didn't show much other than some "age related" things such as buldging discs and height loss of discs. I'm 23 and my symptoms of cervical instability have been happening for over 6 years, if this is age related then I also might as well be mother Mary given what a miraculous event this is (age related haha funny).

They refuse to look at my previous xrays that caught the bone spurs on my neck, or my surgery reports from when my neck was literally cut open. But I get this nice little message asking if i've had an EMG or injections done, no I haven't. I haven't even seen someone for an in person exam for this and yall are already just going straight to nerve related issues and injections???

I love my doctors, I really do but I can't help feeling like this entire thing is backwards. Make me get an MRI that we all know won't show anything of substance, then skip right to nerve causes without so much as a physical exam. I'm tired of this, calling office after office just to follow up on referrals and then having to call again after completing the pre tests, followed up with a "no, we won't follow what the original referral was for or plan".

It's exhausting and honestly heart breaking.

Compression gloves?

I recently had a really bad blood pooling situation in my hands, I have identified the triggers that occured with this and i'm working on making things more manageable so that next time it doesn't happen as bad or (hopefully) at all. My hands were so tingly that it felt like they were full of static, and it was slightly harder to move my fingers. I was in a situation where I was able to put my legs up on a wall and have my husband support my legs so they didn't slip, but I couldn't get the blood pooling under control with my hands. It didn't freak me out but was very uncomfortable, I also have raynauds that may have been attributing to this episode.

I was squeezing both hands with my opposite hand if that makes sense, and raising my arms above my head but it just didn't work. I made sure to stay hydrated, eat, get extra salt and electrolytes, I was also able to change into some compression socks. Eventually the tingling ended up going up to my forearm. I wasn't home at the time, and I'm still working on figuring out what works for me/what to put in my bag. The event that I was at had both stairs and elevators but I noticed that the elevator would sometimes make things worse for me, so would sitting. Other times the elevator was a god send.

I found some fingerless gloves used for arthritis, but i'm unsure if they'll work or just trap the blood in my finger tips instead. What has worked for you in situations like this, and do you have any tips for reducing blood pooling in the hands?

Compression garments causing itching and red/purple splotches that look like an allergy

I have been trying out different compression socks, leggings, and body suit like things that compress my upper abdomen. One issue that i'm running into is these spots that I get, they itch and look almost like hives. No other clothes cause it, and I haven't changed my laundry detergent or body care products. My doctor agree that it looks like an allergy but she's unsure what's causing it as I haven't used anything different/changed detergents.

I know it sounds crazy but it really seems like i'm allergic to compression? At the same time i've been getting these spots that look like eczema on my hands and feet but aren't itchy, it's very strange. Any simmilar experiences or tips?

I have UMR insurance and need to switch psychiatrists due to insurance change from blue cross to UMR. I take Ritalin, have a med card, take a calcium channel blocker, and have an as needed prescription for a beta blocker. My old psychiatrist was at the U and worked with me on all of this, I need someone who can do the same.

I have an MRI scheduled for this month for neck instability, and something i've noticed for a while now is that I get dizzy more often when standing up straight. I'll be asking my neurologist about it but I was curious if anyone else has a similar experience and what they do about it.

I have OW classes coming up soon, and have healed body and facial piercings. I'd like to be prepared and listen to any and all advice given. I'm concerned about suit fit/snag, having metal that may be noticable to wildlife, ear equalization, and regulator fit.

I have both nostrils pierced, septum, snake bites, and nipples. Most of the dives will be at a hot spring and in pool, but one of the dives is scheduled to be at a national lake with plenty of wildlife.

So I am wondering why it seems like degree works, the catalog, and the registration portal all say different things. One class that would fill a credit requirement is listed on degree works and the catalog but not the registration portal. I also saw a different class in the catalog that would fulfill my other credit and be useful for transfer but it's not in degree works.

I emailed my advisor but he's out of the office for a month, figured i'd ask here.
