Should I invest in a ruffled vanity chair? Im also missing a rug at the moment, would adding that help? Should I remove the dog from the table that's reflected in the mirror?

I'm going for a romantic, Parisian theme but I'm unsure what plants need to go on the left side. Possibly ones similar in color to the right? Idk. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I've been trying to create a romantic, Parisian style patio garden but I'm not sure what direction I'm heading towards. I'm also at a loss as to what plants should go on the left of the composition. I know it's quite pathetic at the moment. Any decorating advice or tips would be greatly appreciated! ( Im going to include some reference images that I've taken inspo from)
