Copyright Free Music

Hii! I'm wanting to start a YouTube channel and I'm debating between EpidemicSound and Artlist for copyright free music. Does anybody have any advice on which one? Or why I shouldn't do one? I'm seeing discussions online but it's not giving me the answers I need

Car Rental options

Hello!

I'm planning a trip to 'The Stan's' including Tajikistan. I'd like to rent a car and drive myself (not looking for a driver). I've seen rental prices online and they're pretty up there. I also saw prices in Samarkand (Uzbekistan) were a lot lower. Does anyone have any info about crossing the border to Tajikistan and driving there with a car rented in Uzbekistan? I would obviously return the car in Samarkand.

thanks in advance!!

Traveling the 'Stans' + car rental advice

Hello!

I'm traveling through Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan soon. I would like to rent a car in the following places:

- Almaty (1 day)

- Bishkek (a few days)

- Dushanbe (a few days)

- Khiva (maybe/1 day)

I prefer the freedom of driving places myself over a taxi or a tour. I was wondering if anyone had any reputable companies for these places? I don't want to show up and have to pay a ton of hidden fees, nor do I want to pay for insurance and still get charged for a bit of dust "because that wasn't covered". I've had my license for about 10 years + 28y/o. If anyone has any tips or advice, I'd very much appreciate it!!!

Advice on the Pantanal

Hiii!

I'm backpacking Brazil and seeing Jaguars is one of the highest things on my bucket list. I've seen tours to 'private reserves' but they guarantee a 100% seeing jaguars which in my mind equals probably non-ethical. I would LOVE to go to the north Pantanal, but I'm on my own and those prices are just not an option for this backpacker :( I was wondering what people's experiences are with the South Pantanal? I read the chances of seeing them are 10-30% (vs. 90% in the north). I have searched the internet for days for other options, but sadly I haven't found anything.

Is it worth trying the south? Or is it best to give up on the dream of seeing a wild jaguar?

What Makes a Good Travel Youtuber?

After pretty much no growth for 3+ years and 350 videos, I'm re-evaluating what an audience is looking for. Personally, I enjoy watching cinematic, immersive storytelling and every now and then, informative travel vlogs with lots of info about budgets or logistics etc. I have tried both, but neither is working for me, so I wonder what other people are interested in? What - in your opinion - makes a 'good' travel youtuber that you'd subscribe to and continue to watch?

Which is better, Panasonic lumix s5 ii or Sony a7 iv?

Hello!

I'm currently looking to upgrade my camera to something a little better (yet not outrageous prices). I'm looking at:

- Panasonic Lumix S5 ii

- Sony A7 iv

The panasonic body is everything I'm looking for, but I travel full-time with hand luggage only. Currently I have an 18-300mm lens. I find it hard to find a similar lens for the panasonic. I found the 28-200mm, but from what I read with f/4 it's not quite worth the price. I was wondering if people had advice? I shoot both photo and video, travel, food, landscapes, wildlife etc. The Panasonic kit lens is only until 60mm and that just falls short for wildlife shots (and a second lens is kinda trouble with hand luggage only).

(1) Budget, country, and currency:

australia/netherlands - euro/aud - max $3500 aud

(2) What equipment, if any, you have now and why is it no longer meeting your needs?

Nikon DSLR but its too old.

(3) What kinds of subjects do you intend to shoot?

Travel

(4) Is it primarily for photography, videography, or both?

both

Long Term Parking

Hello!

I am leaving Australia soon for several months. Airport parking is not really realistic for such a long time, but I cannot sell the car as some of my stuff stays behind and I need this car when I get back. I don't mind spending a little bit, I saw some signs online for $70/month (near Sunshine Coast). I don't mind if it's a little away from the main areas as I would only need an Uber twice (there and back). I read I can leave my car parked on the streets legally, but since some of my things stay behind, I don't know how safe that feels. Plus I will leave the car here until march 2027, so I'm not sure how it is with rain/floods? If that isn't an issue, I might call some farmers if I can leave it parked there.

If anyone has any tips, let me know! Thanks in advance!
