Hi everyone!

We’re planning a 5-day trip to Udaipur and Jaipur and wanted to know what the weather is usually like. Does it rain throughout the day or are the showers short enough to still enjoy sightseeing? Are the forts, palaces, lakes, and other tourist spots enjoyable during the monsoon, or does the rain make it difficult to explore?

We are flying to Udaipur and Jaipur btw. So we have to rely on cabs for local commute.

My partner and I are planning a trip to Ooty this weekend (Friday to Sunday) and are looking for recommendations for a good place to stay.
Our priorities are:
Couple-friendly accommodation
Not too far from the city center (we’d prefer easy access to restaurants, sightseeing, and local markets).
Clean, well-maintained rooms and, most importantly, clean bathrooms.
Budget is flexible (5k-6k per night) as long as the stay is worth it.
If you’ve stayed somewhere recently and had a great experience, we’d really appreciate your recommendations. We’d also love to know if there are any places we should avoid.

Planning a 3 day trip to Ooty from Bengaluru (3rd–5th July). We’ll be driving our own car.
The weather forecast is all over the place. Some apps show light rain, others say it’ll be raining the whole time.
Anyone who’s in Ooty right now or visited recently:
Is it actually raining all day, or is it just on and off?
Are the roads okay to drive?
Can you still enjoy the viewpoints, cafés, and other places, or does the rain spoil the trip?
Just trying to figure out if it’s worth going or if we should pick another destination.
