So I graduated my IVF clinic and got scheduled with a highly recommended OB. Well today 2 weeks after I scheduled with them I get a call saying they’ve canceled my appointment because they “don’t do IVF”. Which I was like yeah but I’m pregnant and just need an OB for my pregnancy like the IVF part is over? But no they won’t see me and won’t say why. Is it normal for OBs to NOT see patients for being IVF pregnancies? Now I feel nervous about finding someone good who will accept me as a patient….

Update: ended up telling them I’ll find another OB. I got scheduled with one in the big city 2 hours away which makes me a little anxious. AND it’s not for 4 more weeks….so I’ll be well into my second trimester. Thinking I’ll go to a boutique ultrasound place in the meantime since I will have gone a while without checking on the baby.

So today I had my beta on 10dpt and my HCG was 258.8 but my progesterone was 18.26. My doctor is having me up my daily PIO dose from 1ml to 1.5 ml but this has me a little worried. Will have another HCG and progesterone draw in 4 days. Any thoughts or positive stories? Thank you!

Had C Diff about 2 months ago…no relapse so far and I’ve tested negative on the PCR test. I now have some kind of infection of my tonsils (not strep they don’t know what it is) but it’s causing me the most pain I’ve ever felt in my life. It could be a really bad viral infection and resolve eventually or it could be bacteria they don’t know. At this point though it’s been 5 days of agony and I need to do something about it. I’ve been prescribed Amox-Clav….and I’m terrified. I’m going to take Florastor 4x daily and my high potency probiotic as well. Thoughts?

Had C Diff about a month or so ago…finished vancomycin 3 weeks ago and was doing fine until this morning. 2 very watery poops back to back. Also feel kind of nauseous and just weak overall. Went to the ER, and my C Diff PCR test was negative? The sample I gave was a really small liquid stool. I peed before collecting the stool sample but I had to strain a bit to get any poop to come out and I did pee a little bit again. Not sure if it got into my sample or not but I’m stressed and paranoid that my negative result isn’t accurate. Thoughts?
