My Observations on Gen Z

I am a millennial guy, and during my college days, I thought the next generation would be much more liberal in terms of women's sexuality and ethnicity. I still find that people are becoming more orthodox in terms of ethnicity. Those who claim to be liberal are nothing but wannabe Western people to some extent.

Gen Z are also religious and less influenced by communism than millennials, but they also pretend to be atheists with naive knowledge of spirituality, like that of communists.

Women are still objectified, and virginity is still a big deal.

And those women who claim to be feminists are often just angry at society, venting their frustration without a profound understanding of Eastern culture or a genuine intention to modernize traditional values while preserving their essence.

This generation also reminds me of "Manapurush Ko Sangat" by Bhairav Aryal, where a man boasts endlessly about the USA. The same mindset still exists today—believing that everything in Nepal is worthless.

One good thing is that they are less influenced by traditional parties, but they fail to understand the real meaning of democracy, stability, geopolitics, and have low historical knowledge. Furthermore, their craze for the new political power is nothing but a continuation of what has been going on in this country for years—the usual displacement of power without sorting out the real issues.

In the workplace, they are less patient and a bit pretentious about being well-informed on every matter. One prime reason is their accessibility to foreign countries after high school and their involvement in social media, which was not as common in those days as it is nowadays.

Nevertheless just saw a report that Nepalese Genz are the most optimistic in the world regarding their . I hope that becomes a reality not just a false hope like in the past.

Orange Dreams, Broken Again.💔🇳🇱

I am a Dutch football fan from Nepal, a Himalayan country in Asia. Most football fans here support teams like Brazil, Argentina, Germany, England, or Spain. But I fell in love with the Netherlands in 2006, and one of the main reasons was Ruud van Nistelrooy. He was the first striker I truly admired in the Premier League.

The Battle of Nuremberg is still one of my most vivid memories. Even though Portugal won, that Dutch team left a lasting impression on me. Then came 2010, when the Netherlands were inches away from becoming world champions. To this day, I am haunted by that moment when Iker Casillas denied Arjen Robben with his foot. One touch changed football history.

I thought 2014 would finally be our year. After demolishing Spain 5–1, it felt like destiny was on our side. But once again, penalties stood in the way, just as heartbreak had struck in previous tournaments.

I had fewer expectations in 2018 and 2022. The golden generation of Robin van Persie, Arjen Robben, and Wesley Sneijder had moved on, and there seemed to be no proper replacements. But this year felt different. I genuinely believed something special was possible. And honestly, I still think this team is special.

That is why the elimination hurts so much. The negative football against Morocco was difficult to watch. I almost cried for Cody Gakpo. Twenty years is a long time to wait. Since 2006, it has been my childhood dream to see the Netherlands lift the World Cup trophy. For two decades I have carried that hope, and today I am heartbroken. The disappointment has affected me so much that I have barely logged into my social media accounts for the past two days.

Sometimes I wonder what might have happened with a manager like Arne Slot on the touchline. Maybe things would have been different. Maybe not. Football is cruel that way.

Looking ahead to 2030, the challenge will be even greater with the tournament being hosted partly in Spain and Morocco, where the home advantage could be significant. But despite all the heartbreak, I will keep believing.

I just hope that someday, within my lifetime, I will finally witness the Netherlands lift the World Cup trophy. Until then, I will continue to wear orange with pride.

I will throw a beer party if Dutch wins the worldcup.

They have been unfortunate in the last two decades. They lost in penalties to Brazil in 1998 where their team was on prime . Bergkamp and Kluivert the dynamic duo... They were inches away from clinching the title in 2010. Only if Robben hadn't missed his chance... They were absolute beasts in 2014 yet couldn't overcome Argentina in Semis ... It has been their routine ..Give memorable moments in one worldcup ,reach peak in another but fail to win and disappear for a few years and again reinvent themselves ... In most cases it's down to the luck of the nation. I love dutch football and I hope one day the Curse will be broken..

Just ride the bike and analyse the surroundings ,while travelling in Terai. You can actually figure out which community resides in that area even if that place consists of people from different communities and the reason is not the name of the place or anything ,it's just the streets that are covered in filth.

I don't understand their obsession with filthy roadside gutters. In every city and village it's like an identity.

A few years ago I visited Gadhimai temple . It was early in the morning ,it was the worst decision if you decide to take any road on the outskirts. They were shitting everywhere ,you can't take your eyes to view outside the window .

And Irony is they have one of the most educated individuals in the country. In every house ,some are doctor ,engineer ,CA ,teachers but none of them really revolt to bring civic sense in the society.

BIKASH Vayena is always there narration,Pahade sarkar le bikash garena to be specific... what do they expect that government would assign officials to go to every house and clean their shit. DO THEY EVEN KNOW WHAT IS UNDERDEVELOPMENT AND STRUGGLE?. ROAD,ELECTRICITY,HOSPITAL K XAINA?There are villages in Nepal where a boy or girl had to travel hours just to reach school.

WHENEVER I TRAVEL TO THOSE HILLY REGIONS AND SEE THOSE SOULS I REALISE WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO THOSE WOMAN DURING DELIVERY. THERE SUFFERINGS AND STRUGGLE BECAUSE THEY ARE POOR AND DON'T HAVE EASY ACCESS TO HOSPITAL IS BEYOND MY IMAGINATION. ITS GREAT FOR TREKKING AND ADVENTURE BUT LIFE IS HARD. DOKO MA BOKNU PARCHA DOKO MA..KATAI LAGDA.. BUT STILL THOSE PEOPLE THEY NEVER COMPLAIN OR CURSE THEIR COUNTRY.ROADS ARE SO DANGEROUS THAT EVERY TRAVEL COULD BE LAST ONE.

And arko kura...

REGADING RACISM

Yes ,they have an identity crisis. LOTS OF PEOPLE DISREGARD THEM SIMPLY BECAUSE OF THEIR SIMILARITY TO PEOPLE FROM NEIGHBOURING COUNTRY ALTHOUGH THAT THOUGHT HAS NOT ERADICATED COMPTELY BUT HAS DIMINISHED SUBSTANTIALLY.

NEPAL IS NOT BHUTAN TO DISOWN PEOPLE. EVEN USA WHO BOASTS ABOUT EQUALITY AND DEMOCRACY TOOK CENTURIES TO ELECT PEOPLE FROM NON WHITE COMMUNITY TO THEIR HEAD OF STATE.

AND HERE IS NEPAL WHO HAD WOMAN HEAD OF STATE ,WOMAN PM AND PM OF EVERY OF OTHER COMMUNITIES THAN SO CALLED RULING CLASS.. THIS COUNTRY IS GREAT AND BELIEVE ME WE AS NEPALI CAN BE GREAT RACE ONLY IF WE MANAGE TO BE A BIT RATIONAL..

LASTLY ,THOSE PEOPLE WHO CLAIM THEY FACE RACISM ,YES THAT A TRUTH BUT WHAT ABOUT THOSE PEOPLE WHO WERE HARASSED AND KICKED OUT FROM THEIR HOME CITY AFTER 2063.PEOPLE WHO SAYS PEOPLE FROM PAHAD DON'T SPEAK OUR LANGUAGES BUT THERE USED TO BE PEOPLE FROM PAHAD WHO RESIDEDES IN TERAI FOR GENERATIONS AND SPOKE THOSE MAITHILI, BHOJPURI BETTER THAN NEPALI . THEY WERE FORCED OUT AND NOBODY IS LEFT. PEOPLE FROM TERAI ARE EVERYWHERE IN NEPAL BUT YOU CAN COUNT PEOPLE OF PAHADI RACE IN CORE CITIES OF MADHESH. WHY ?ISNT IT THE OTHER SIDE OF RACISM.
