Mitti De Baway is revenge saga set in 80s/90s rural Punjab, with the intense love story of Iqbal and Bilqees. Sohail Ahmed is the main villain. SH has also clarified that Mahira isn’t the producer, only Multiverse Ent. is. Also I don’t think it’ll replace AMA because the teasers aren’t even out yet.
Honestly the premise sounds so so exciting and happening. I really hope the show lives up to its expectations 🤞🏻🍀

I’m sure romaisa and abu bakar know each other from before and are pretty close, otherwise romaisa’s character knowing their address and everything else is very creepy and stalkerish. On the other hand, zaryab is yet again very stupidly stubborn on leaving Harvard for her man 😭✋🏻 these two have no chemistry btw - just two pretty faces together.
I’m almost certain that UA is going down the route of showing abu bakar as the better and bigger person because he is very religious, other than the fact that he’s seemingly very sweet and sincere - but he’s too much of a goody two shoes rn, so I’m honestly a bit suspicious about him.
Beyond her codependency on Zaamil, Zaryab also comes across as quite rude and immature. She walks into her dadi’s room without knocking, completely ignores Khushbakht, and even when Zaryab it notified about her presence, she can’t be bothered to greet her properly. Then she and her cousins can’t adjust for even a few minutes and instead tell Abu Bakar to leave. It’s basic etiquette, and she can’t seem to manage it in front of company. And to top it off, her mother brings up the dadi’s scolding right in front of the guests. It’s hard to believe these characters lack this much self-awareness and tact. It’s all completely foolish.
The dance practice scenes tho, were very wholesome and fun to watch. Also, Khushbakht seems heavily plagued by guilt and pain due to the past. She also evidently holds herself responsible for some bad deeds.
Overall - not a very good episode. The progression was really slow as well, hopefully they pick up the pace. The dialogue delivery, especially in English, feels very rehearsed and unnatural, it doesn’t sound good; the acting also isn’t good ✋🏻. Dure and Nameer have to improve A LOT!! Sherry on the other hand, is okay so far 🤷🏻♀️. The production value is great, just wish they had spent more money and time in casting better actors.
SOO!! A pretty boring episode, nothing really happened, but let’s get into it.
the episode opens up with Sarbuland in Bano’s room, reminiscing about their old moments - which were filled with irritating giggling and bland conversations, so I couldn’t really connect with it.
Sarbuland then comes out of Bano’s room after spending the whole day there, and runs into a very hopeless and defeated looking sohrab. Sohrab as expected starts to guilt trip and manipulate Sarbuland into accepting that Bano has committed suicide due to his and biya’s affair, to which Sarbuland finally shows some emotion - indignation and anger - and tells Sohrab to stop spouting nonsense and that Bano isn’t dead. Now the issue - if sarbuland so vehemently denies her death, why don’t we see any desperation and restlessness from him to search for her?? He has made minimal effort to search for her, it’s high time that he act on his words. Danyal was alright in this scene, but Reza as usual was great and very convincing with his expressions and voice modulation.
The way Sohrab was so casually talking to Shireen RIGHT IN FRONT of his room actually made me think that noor would finally find out about his affair, but that didn’t happen. Shireen’s worry for him irritates me! 😒😒 she doesn’t even care that Bano is gone! These two better suffer from the consequences of her actions.
Torsam finally, very reluctantly shows his face to Zafran khan, who will definitely get to know something soon, maybe about Sohrab and Shireen, since he seems to have zeroed in on the fact that Sherdil and Mahgul didn’t die due to him. But he doesn’t say that to Torsam - since he knows that he doesn’t use his brain 😂.
Shireen fills Noor Bhabhi’s mind with the idea that Sarbuland and Rabiya are most definitely having an affair. So I think Noor Bhabhi will reveal this infront of the whole family to force Rabiya out of the haveli, which is what sohrab and Shireen want 🙄🙄. Shireen swearing her loyalty to the haveli made me chuckle 🤡🤡
Rabiya visits an ailing Bibi jaan, who hallucinates her to be bano 😭😭. Then we have Biya comfort her, which was sweet and wholesome ig 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️. Bibi jaan falls in the bathroom, which I strongly suspect Shireen being behind it, though I don’t know why she’d push a frail old woman 😭😭
ALL IN ALL - A tedious episode to get through. I really want the show to pick up pace now 😔😔

The show is pretty realistic and relatable with the characters, plus the two couples have great chemistry too!! It’s a lighthearted and sweet series.

the moment Sohrab enters the room he starts blaming sarbuland for Bano’s death, which he frames as suicide 🙄😡. And then he proceeds to blame Rabiya also!!! The audacity is insane! Then Noor Bhabhi is also blaming Rabiya with zero proof?! And accusing her of having an affair with him - character assassinating her 😭😭😭. Sohrab’s acting as the innocent grief-stricken brother is pretty convincing ngl - but we know him now 😡😡😡
bibi jaan is in the hospital after collapsing due to shock and grief. On the other hand, Rabiya is anxious and panicking due to Bano’s sudden death, plus all the accusations thrown at her. I feel so bad for Rabiya!! Iske masle khatam hi nahi hote 😭😭
So zafran wants torsam and sarbuland to face off because he’s sure that even though he has zero braincells, he doesn’t lack bravery 😂🙄. I suspect he’ll soon find out about Rabiya since he’s really curious as to why Sarbuland is silent.
Mama-Bhaanja finally talk 😐😐. Expectedly, Torsam is hurt because how dare someone reject him 🤡🤡🤡. He’s so egoistic for how stupid he is 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ he’s not listening to zafran khan when he’s offering him protection again also. This one should be jailed 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻. Also, zafran khan’s niece is plotting something now. Will she reach out to sarbuland to tell him the truth???
RABIYA HAS RUN AWAY 🚨🚨🚨. The cinematography here is TOP NOTCH 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻!! The aerial shots were so aesthetically pleasing and beautiful! Sarbuland has now set out to find Bano and instead hears rabiya’s voice screaming out for help.
The chase sequence here is pretty well done and thrilling thanks to the bgm and the fact that those men keep shooting constantly. Though I feel like it went on for a tad bit too long.
The camera work during the fight was so goofy I couldn’t take it seriously and it wasn’t that impactful😂😂. Though Danyal performed the action stunts well and that moment made my heart flutter a bit 💕💕.
Yashal Shahid and Danny’s powerful voices paired with the cinematic shots go pretty hard 🔥🔥🙌🏻🙌🏻, The ost reaching a crescendo as biya and sarbuland walk towards the sunset is absolutely breathtaking. Also, Bibi jaan is alive, pretty sad, but alive 😌🎉
WHY did sarbuland leave the gun behind???!! Safety how???!!!!
Sohrab asks Zaroon(??) to whip him after he whips Zaroon because the guilt is clearly eating him up from the inside. Good!! He should suffer!! Reza has performed this scene so well!! The way you can see the guilt eating him up on the inside, yet he won’t stop his evil deeds.
OVERALL - A pretty good episode, excited to see what happens next!!!! Danyal’s acting was okay - pretty flat in some places imo, though Sajal and Reza were amazing as usual. The best thing about today’s episode was the cinematography - absolutely phenomenal 🙂↕️🙂↕️🙌🏻🙌🏻
