40 year old American male, looking to try my hand at some voice acting. I've auditioned for a few roles I've seen posted here but they always seem to get snatched up before I can get considered for a role. It's not all animals, but definitely the majority of them. They turn into black void babies, some of their animations break (they can still roam normal but attack animations and death animations are usually borked), and I can't loot or interact with their corpse at all.
Obviously it has something to do with my mods. But I cannot figure out for the life of me what could possibly be causing it. I've spent hours trying to troubleshoot this with no success. I have Symbiosis and Animal Variation installed, and as far as I know, those are the only ones that should be affecting animals at all, and yet this still happens no matter where in the load order I put them or even if I disable them entirely. I've validated my install files. I've shifted every mod backwards and forwards.
Does anyone have any idea what mod could be doing stupid things to my animals that is breaking everything? Someone with a similar experience? Some patch to some other thing that I'm missing? I'll post my full mod list in the comments. Please help.
