navia lunar plunge team?

Thoughts on navia-linnea-columbina-xianyun? Also what would the rotation be for this team?

I pulled xianyun and got her weapon ages ago but don’t exactly have a good team to use her in. It’s the exact same story with navia — i’ve been planning on pulling for linnea to play a lunar crystallise team for her, i’d build illuga too so that i can use him instead of xianyun for better damage when i need it.

here would be my sets too:
Navia - 4x nighttime whispers
Xianyun - 4x song of days past
Columbina - 4x silken moon
Linnea - 4x aubade

how to handle embarrassment/shame?

Did something stupid today, barely a big deal, lied to my friend who i was with to make it seem controlled and made an elaborate excuse to justify what i did and pestered my friend being like ‘well, with all this context you’d have done it too, right? right??’. Genuinely feeling mortified and like such a complete fool even hours later, makes me re remember that this isn’t the only time this has happened and the shame usually lasts for like days at a time. I have a constant bad habit of lying over admitting that i did something wrong, am incapable of doing something, or that i was being incompetent, even when it’s the most insignificant, small things. This time i couldn’t even bring myself to redirect the shame as anger to the person who i felt embarrassed me because logically it was reasonable — it just made me resent existing.

My friend made a joke about it and i lashed out slightly, partially because they did it around other people (completely uninvolved to the prior situation, lol), but the discomfort made me realise that i really can’t let my awful handling of shame affect others.

There’s a lot of other situations that are like this that aren’t even directly linked to being embarrassed, but the underlying feeling of shame is always there, especially being incredibly concerned about image, ego, and people’s perception.

misophonia & associations??

Recently i’ve been thinking about how my misophonia is really based on my associations and emotions regarding the environment/ actions of my triggers

For example, I love ASMR — things like mouth sounds and tapping are more than okay for me in a designated moment. Yet, when one of my parents so much as opens their mouth i get really angry at the mouth noises. To add on to this, im usually firmly against exposure therapy for ‘curing’ misophonia as it really just doesn’t work, but oddly enough one thing i’ve found that surprisingly helps me is reestablishing and assigning different memories, emotions, and associations with triggers. Usually keyboard clicking is the worst for me, but i’ve been slowly getting less of a reaction from it when i have it kind of ‘drip fed’ in ASMR or something lol. It’s no cure or anything but it definitely calms down my response to triggers and can be useful in approaching situations where i will be exposed to triggers unwilling with less stress.

Similarly, my misophonia triggers usually don’t start off bad but soon enough i hyper focus on it and it’s all i can think of — that’s when it turns into a full trigger

When people generally hear misophonia (esp when they don’t struggle with it) they think of it as a fear of sound, yet that’s definitely not exactly it

Usually visual movements or imagery are also enough to provoke a fight or flight response too, and that’s very common with people who struggle from misophonia

Has anybody else had any experiences with the idea of completely changing associations to ‘heal’ from their triggers, or to lessen the effects of it, has it actually ‘worked’ in the way it has for me? It’s not really an approach i ever really hear of.
Also, i hear a lot about people saying that it’s worse around family, in work, in school etc. It makes me wonder if that can be a trauma-like response to the invalidation or ableism faced by people with misophonia, especially when brought upon in childhood. For example, my misophonia started when i was around 6 and nobody in my life knew how to accommodate to it — but i have no trauma related diagnoses and i haven’t looked into it so who knows.

Personally, I got used to staying silent about my misophonia so that i wouldn’t be seen as incompetent or weak and never really reached out for help. Chances are, these are already known things people have been trying for ages lol so i’d love to hear people’s thoughts, experiences or knowledge on the matter
