This is probably my most listened song from One Wayne G, and listening to Rooster I hear alot of similarities-could Rooster have took this song and worked more on it or just coincidence since One Wayne G has so many works and Demos?

I think I’ve got the complete setlist for Budapest on the 23rd, but I remember Mac saying “this is a cover of a song by -“ “this song is” something like that, I remember recording small clips of it but I literally can’t find them at all now, I recorded small bits of each song expect Home since not the biggest fan, and after the concert I rewatched them but I literally don’t find the footage for that one, plus there is no time period for there to be a 31st song in the setlist expect for maybe after home?? Since I took a live photo when Home was playing, and I remember the lightning/atmosphere of the cover being similar to Home
I hope someone remembers the moment/the song, maybe got footage or grabbed a physical setlist being given out because I feel schizophrenic remembering the moment but not finding any evidence💀
I met Mac today after his show in Budapest, and had the opportunity to ask him quick a question amongst a picture and signature on my cd, and the conversation went like this;
Me: “Okay so I saw this rumour, I’m not sure if it’s true, but you used to work with Thundercat right?” (I saw a post on here about the jam sessions but didn’t look much into it/knew if it was real)
Mac: “Yeah I did, I had some sessions with Stephy” (or something alongside those lines, I’m not sure if he said Stephen? Or a nickname, it sounded like Stevie😭)
Me: “Okay so, how did you find working with him? As a bass player?”
Mac: “Amazing, the best, I mean just wow” (again kind of hard remembering exact words I wanted to be casual and I didn’t knew I’d meet him today so it just came out of nowhere the questions😭)
Me: “Did you listen to his new album”
Mac: “Yes”
Me: “What was your favourite song?”
Mac: “The one with Kevin (Kevin Parker - Tame Impala, so No More Lies)
Me: “Alright thank you very much have a great night!”

I recently picked up Volumes 12,13 and 14 from Vinted almost brand new for only 15 bucks (pretty good for japanese manga in western countries) and going over these mangas again in person, I feel even stronger on thinking the start of part 2 up to the falling devil arc was Chainsaw Man’s peak, but maybe that’s because I like slice of life and I actually found the start of Part 2’s everyday like pacing+showing of the world of the manga after the little time skip from end of Part 1
I watched all of the anime+the movie and binged read the manga up to Chapter 156, where I was reading new chapters everyweek till the series’ end
Anyone feel the same or a similar way?
