Japanese Cavalry WW2 - 3D

Hello,

I have a Japanese army and am lusting after the glory of cavalry charges even though I don't think that really happened in WW2.

Does anyone know of any 3D makers that would make Japanese Cavalry? I cannot find any online. I know that there are metal horses from Empress but metal always chips and they don't travel as well as resin.

I have made 7 Cav from Prussian cavalry and old IJA bodies but that was a lot of effort and I would like some variation. Maybe even a couple horses with gas masks on. Variety is the spice of life.

Anyway if anyone knows where to find something good, or can digitally kit bash what is out there or fully design them - let me know!

After I realised you can take platoon leaders with a horse every night I dream of clip clopping over and hitting them with my sword.

Meaty NC muscle tyre recommendations / coilover feel

Hello fellow captains ⛵

I am in Australia and I have recently installed Yellowspeed Racing Dynamic Pro Sport Coilovers (NC 2005-2014) on my NC1.

I have found that the ride is just a bit too rough for Sydney roads. There is a 7kg and 6kg spring in the front and back respectively.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience and if putting softer springs in would make the ride feel a bit easier? It feels fun when I'm alert but road noise and bumps make me feel like I'm getting bashed up on long high speed drives or driving home after a long day. I'm on the softest settings already.

My alternate idea is to go down from 17 inch wheels to 16, and getting some thick tyres. Hoping an extra inch of rubber would make potholes feel less like Ragnarok.

I love the look of American muscle wheels and suspect they would look very good on the boat. Has anyone done this or have recommendations for 16s? I used the car as a daily and I just want a bit more comfort.

Otherwise I was thinking of putting stock NC3 suspension back into it because I am also worried about insurance companies in Sydney not liking coilovers and hear that the NC3 had the best stock suspension out of the NCs. Originally my NC1 looked like a lifted truck.

I'd love to get a consensus of which of these 3 options are the best before I pull any triggers.

All hands on deck!

Is the NC PRHT the mechanically best convertible hard top of all time?

I have been doing some research and I looking into other brands. For the price point, lack of problems and style points is the PRHT the best there ever was? Mechanically and objectively speaking is there anything that wins out?

As a hypothetical question, if I was an up and coming car manufacturer and I had to choose a system to clone or update, is there anything better mechanically or space wise that beats the NC Power Retractable Hard Top?

Is there any other mechanical system where the roof sits vertically behind the driver and in front of the rear wheels to retain maximum boot space?

The only other thing I can think of that could give more adaptability is maybe something like a Hilux / Ute lockable roller cover but adapted for sports car roof use.
