Hi, I'm looking for a bit of help before potentially signing my Mum up to Community Fibre.

Mum is currently with Vodafone on an FTTC service but one thing they don't offer is an ansaphone/voicemail option. I know that CF do so they are looking as a possible option and they are cheaper than BT and EE. Sadly Mum is not comfortable with using a mobile.

Mum is in her 80's and not technically minded so I rang CF to check I could manage her account for her (if needed) and they confirmed it's an option, so far so good. I've had a look on here and noticed a few posts about CGNAT, is this standard on all packages in all areas they serve (she's in East Sussex)?

Anything else I should be aware of?

Following on from my previous post about NetMD I mentioned I think I still have a Sony MZ-N1 somewhere at home, I'm on the hunt for it but in the meantime I've been looking at a power supply just to be 100% safe with using it. I've seen a few but I'm not sure if the correct model number, can anyone confirm it for me please?

It has been suggested to order a USB adapter that does both but with shipping times factored in it would be quicker to order an original supply instead. Plus if I do ever sell it, it has the supply with it.

Hi there I'm new to the minidisc Reddit but I have an older Pioneer MJ-D707. My question is about copying my existing MD's over to a PC. I wondered if a Net MD deck/portable would be the better option as it transfers direct via USB, however having not used the format to record in probably 2 decades I wondered if the original recordings had to have been made on a Net MD device or can any MD be transferred using Net MD? Apologies if this has been answered before or if it seems 'stupid'.

Assuming the answer is that I can use any MD, I'd be looking at either a Sony MDS-JB980 or an MDS-JE780? Are there any other reasonable alternatives?
