Hey all, what’s your go to play mode? I always roll random civ, king difficulty, standard speed and size on continents. It’s really fun playing towards whatever civ’s strengths I get on the fly, without too much BS. I also like having the 8 player count, and continents make it feel more “realistic” for immersion and RP.
In all seriousness, this is one of my favorite moments of the show. The voice acting is always incredible, but the animation for this whole episode, the stakes, and given the grave severity of what just happened, this line...
It's heartbreaking really, considering too, how at odds they were with each other at the time. Mark is still a kid basically, with Cecil a type of mentor/father figure, and to have Mark pleading for him, calling out in a moment like this, when all hope seems to be lost, is very sad and poignant.

When reviewing the replay, it checks out, because apparently, I hit the ult 1 frame too early 🤷🏼♂️
Her invincible frames ran out right as marks heel stomped my head. Btw, more detailed frame data would be nice, such as invulnerability frames.
After much consideration, I'm submitting Kate's ult as worst in the game. Hits high so blockable while standing, even though visually, it tracks low, meaning it can slide under certain moves and is easy to miss off bounces. It used to show as a low in move properties but guess they changed it. I've missed her damn ult so many times in match it isn't even funny anymore.
To make up for it, put it back to low, and make it actually function that way. It'd play into her mixup style. She deserves it.
Is it only available through the digital deluxe upgrade? Idc too much about the Conquest/Allen skins but def want the pass and was wondering if this is the only route available for it, as that seems to be the case.
If so that's fine since it's still a pretty solid value, like $3-4 for each character, accounting for the extra cosmetics/skins too.
Also, it's looking like fall release will be Angstrom and winter, Agent Spider, right? Very exciting. Especially stoked for Angstrom and Immortal.
I thought armor had a specified number of hits to break. Doesn't it for everyone else? Wth. It does for Allen and Kate anyway.

Btw apparently this move has armor break too even though it doesn't say so in the move list. Guess that makes it impenetrable except to other armor break moves.
Hilarious glitch I got during a particularly laggy match after hitting her Lvl 3 on Anissa. Things were never the same. Until I hit it again anyway 🤷🏼♂️
The crazy thing is it happened during the match prior, and carried over into the rematch.

So it's not a TOD, and uses up all resources, but it's pretty damn close!
Thanks to Combo Breaker and JuniorJunes I learned that looping her forward Lvl1 was possible off assist, and oh boy what a game changer.
I will say this was very hard to pull off and I don't see myself hitting it in match but still, nice to know it's available. Hitting a lesser version with just the looped dragon rushes will be much more doable in real-time.

Her dmg and legion specifically.
I'm suffering from serious fomo seeing all these TOD eve/mark and otherwise high dmg omni/conquest/BB combos while Kate can barely scrape 40 or 50% and not without serious work or resources.
Not gonna drop her, but man, help her out please. Her legion should be doing way more dmg and I wonder, with the recent change to scaling, if it ends up suffering even more.
Here are her dmg figures for each normal with, and without install.

Do you see that, TWO EXTRA DMG PER HIT ARE YOU SERIOUS. Her air heavy gets 8 so that's nice, but that convention should be across the board. Couple this with the fact that for some godforsaken reason she can't air dash, and poor girl ends up hitting like an egg.
This super has a damn cool mechanic and by design I think it's great. It also is fantastic for opening people up due to the long fast reach of the low, and unlocked overhead, but other than that seemingly, and mostly useless - better off hitting the other lvl 1 in almost all situations.
Oh and btw, did you know her Ult, although hitting low, is blockable while standing? Yeah, that's great. Why not. Smh. Not only is it easier to miss because of this, but the opponent doesn't even have to try avoiding it.
One match I tried using it in response to a grounded Bulletproof lvl 1, the forward moving one with a bunch of hits (idk I don't play him), and it whiffed, slid right under him. While hilarious, and ultimately a learning moment, it was also infuriating.
I was tagging Cecil in on an air combo and it kept failing even though they didn’t counter tag. I was so confused until I realized they were heroic striking to break instead.
Still confused lol that was/is only supposed to be possible on block, right?
Thought it was a Cecil thing but happened as Allen too so I was wondering, is this new or was it always an option that I didn’t realize?
If it’s new I guess that’s nice, gives you a way to break tag strings definitively instead of guessing.
IT's FIXED! Many of you probably already noticed this but I just did and was overjoyed. I can now lab in peace without the aggravation of character select and manually hopping back into training after a RQ.

Boosted specials that break armor, they're fine and all, but is it just me or do the fact that they also break armored supers feel kinda BS?

As annoying as RQ'ers are, since you seemingly still get the win/points, it's not nearly as annoying as how them doing so ends up kicking me back to the main menu.
I like to sit in training between matches but because of this shit it's too much of a pain and delay having to do that over and over, so I end up just queuing for ranked and sitting in the main menu on my own.
Seriously hope they address/fix that in the next patch.
So this was a major pain in the ass to finally pull off but after a ton of labbing I finally did it and I must say, it looks and feels, pretty damn awesome.
Practical? Hell naw, most likely anyway. Doubt I'd ever be able to pull something like this off in match due to assist breakers etc., even though it's doable midscreen too. Maybe after an arena shift but then again, that's so much work lol
No matter, it's about the sauce. Nice that it gets her 2 bars back too! Also, I somehow managed to net some extra hits/higher damage with it on a previous attempt, it's why the max combo shows 623. My guess is it has to do with the timing of the 2nd lvl 1.

Hilarious glitch where I 'died' after killing Rex but before Eve came out, seemingly nullifying the dmg from Rex in the spirit realm.
Regrettably I was too flabbergasted to do anything with it, would've loved to hit a super or two from the afterlife.
So we all know the meta team is OP (mark/cecil/eve), cecil and eve's assists are goated, and armor moves in general are way too strong, but I haven't heard anyone giving much credit to this guy.
His armor attacks are ridiculous! Skill issue I know, about to hop in training now to lab him, but just wanted to give him his flowers and ask if anyone else struggles against the bastard. He's been wrecking me the most lately.
Hey all so I couldn't find anything definitive and was wondering, anyone know the LP requirements for each bracket?
Also it's interesting how 1 is greater than 4 meaning, rookie 1 is a higher rank than rookie 4 etc - that threw me off coming from SF where it's the opposite.
And on the topic of RQers, I love how they handled that seemingly and almost immediately. They lose LP and you gain LP right, basically counting the match as a forfeit. Is the lost LP equivalent to a standard loss or is there an additional penalty, anyone know?
I don't mind it now, speeds things up and it has no consequence if it's just calculating the match as a standard win/loss. However, I really wish it didn't kick you back to main menu since I like to sit in training between matches, so it's annoying having to get back in.
One final thing for anyone coming from SF, would you say platinum in this game is equivalent to diamond in SF, with diamond being master, superhero high master and guardian as grand/ultimate master etc? I'm a 1500 player there and just thinking ahead about where I could reasonably shoot and how many wins it might take.
