I played several armies, but have always wanted to try Thousand Sons. Didn't want to go crazy painting another trim heavy army, so I tried out this scheme inspired by magical terracotta warriors! Paints up really quick, can do a unit in basically 2 days

Now I have to figure out what to do with Magnus, MVB, and Daemon princes. I could have them in more classic organic colors, or just say screw it and make them entirely terracotta too

This model was super fun, and super fast to paint up! Only 2 days!

Had a ton of fun and frustrations figuring out how I wanted to paint orks. Eventually worked out this scratchy brushy scheme, was recently called 90s action figure like!

Finally cracked red skin! Just paint, shade, highlight with reds as normal, then glaze red ink over the whole thing!
