Someone talk me off the ledge lol

Someone talk me off the ledge lol

This has been my baby since 2022. Of course I love submariners and that was out of my budget so I came across the Seamaster. Have made tons of memories in this piece and have worn it 90% of the time since 2022.

My problem is I’m slightly phasing out of the 42mm size. I’ve dabbled with a Tudor Ranger 39mm and a Tudor Black bay 58 and the case specs on them have completely changed my opinion. They fit so perfectly it makes me second guess this Seamaster.

I’m an all or nothing person. Should I wear the Tudor for a while and let this sit, or do I look to move it into something else? I’m not one to sell and rebuy things or act impulsively. Just looking for conversation/feedback if anyone has had a similar situation come up!

Bracelet downgrade?

I am trading my Ranger in for a 2020 black bay 58 blue. Reading reviews people are really critical of the non micro adjust clasp on the older black bays. If you’ve experienced the new Ranger bracelet and the old black bay is it a significant downgrade? Or like most things does the internet blow things out of proportion? My experience with the Ranger bracelet has been pretty good using an uncle Seiko half link. Thanks!

Still blown away by this watch

Purchased July 2022 and I still find myself obsessed with the dial and texture to this watch.

At times I wish the size was a little smaller, but it wears so well on the rubber strap to me.

Do any of you think you’ll trade yours in if the new gen is more of a 40-41mm size and a little thinner?

Which color?

Going to be purchasing one of these black bay 58s soon. Will likely go by what looks best to me in person? But curious on general consensus between those who own one? I lean towards the blue!

Looking for advice

Looking for advice here. Thinking I might just be bored and should get off Reddit lol. Anyways - I have an omega seamaster & Tudor Ranger as my main 2 watches. I purchased the omega in July 2022 and the Ranger in March 2026.

I am dive watch obsessed so the Ranger was something I made myself get for the variety as I don’t plan on having a big watch collection. Problem I am facing is the pelagos 39 is really drawing me in. I currently do not want to buy that outright without selling one of my pieces first, maybe I should just hold off for a few years and then be more prone to wanting to purchase a third piece?

Has anyone went from a Ranger to pelagos? Any regrets in doing so? I really enjoy the Ranger. The fit is incredible as well as the bracelet. I just find myself way more enamored with my Seamaster. Sorry for rambling here. Thanks in advance!

Looking For Ranger Strap Suggestions

As the title says I’m looking for strap ideas. I’m not a huge nato strap guy. I’ve been looking at the anchor strap company rubber options and also their mono pass fkm hybrid option. Looking at a green or khaki color, but curious what you guys find to pair well with this piece? Thanks in advance!

Evening stroll in the Midwest

My 39mm Tudor Ranger. I know the craze is with the 36mm, but I think this size is perfectly timeless.

Side note - pictures will never do the Ranger justice imo. Love this watch

4 years later and finally got a bracelet

Purchased this Seamaster as my daily piece on rubber strap in 2022. Have been wanting a new look so I finally splurged and got the oem bracelet used for a great price. Was convinced this bracelet was junk from all of the online opinions and quickly realized how far from true that is! Loving this look and the variety I now have!

Looking for opinions

I wear my 2022 42mm SMP300 and a 2026 39mm Tudor Ranger most days. Looking to get into an automatic bond era Seamaster to potentially replace this quartz Tag Heuer piece I have (or just add to the collection lol). The Tag Heuer is 38mm.

I’m leaning towards the Seamaster 2551.80 midsize to have some size variety in my collection.

Is this a good thought? What other seamasters from that 90s-2000s should I consider?

My Daily Since 2022

My first luxury watch & daily piece since July of 2022. Still absolutely love this watch! Wore it in the hospital during the birth of our first son in 2024. A lifetime piece for me!

Perfect Field Watch

I don’t think there’s a more versatile field watch on the market. The finishing and bracelet on this piece make it feel luxurious, while the dial is well executed. Huge fan!
