Anyone else having this issue?

This is the second day in a row that I can't do the Hard puzzle because the colored squares are not aligned with the board, so that not only is it difficult to match the conditions to the board, but I can't even see the necessary conditions for the squares at the bottom of the screen.

Is this only a me issue? I'm using the app on Android.

Edit: sort of solved. Turns out that since I'm old and had increased my font size on my phone, that had caused the squares to be wider. Moving to the tiniest font moves them almost back to normal.

My husband's father is dead.

I swear that every word of this, to my best knowledge, is true.

My husband's father is dead.

He was an abusive alcoholic fuck. When my husband was young he beat him hard enough to crack ribs. He beat my MIL in front of company once for buying the wrong kind of sour cream. He told my SIL, at a wedding, that he didn't think she was his daughter. Not for any good reason, but because she hadn't spoken to him in years.

He's had three wives, all of whom left him for abuse. A girlfriend once had to have him legally evicted because after they broke up he refused to leave the house, and even the master bedroom. She had to sleep in her own spare room for months. He finally left an hour before the sheriff was legally allowed to intervene.

The man once got fired for punching out his boss. He didn't work for over a decade because he screwed over a client so badly that no one would work with him; he lived off the settlement of a lawsuit against that same client. He lived by squatting in other people's houses as long as he could get away with it. My husband occasionally had to drive an hour each way to take him to a doctor because he couldn't afford gas.

About 10 years ago, his mother died and left him a million dollars. He flew to Greece and bought a 60-foot yacht. Likely in part to avoid a court summons for a bar fight. We think he may have bought it from the Bulgarian mob. It can't be sailed without a crew of at least 6. He had one but fired them, probably after a physical altercation (from what we heard).

During the pandemic, he got stuck with his schizophrenic girlfriend in Tunisia because he wouldn't get vaccinated and no other port would take him. When he refused to pay the mechanic who was fixing his boat’s engine, the mechanic supposedly sabotaged it and it has been sitting in dry dock ever since. Despite his constant complaints about living with the “Lems” as his racist ass calls moslems, he has been in Tunisia ever since.

Last year his girlfriend emailed my husband and his aunt to tell them that he was almost dead. The aunt flew to Tunisia to help only to find out that he was apparently fine. However, the boat had lost running water and they had buckets full of urine sitting around.

This is only the surface of the story. And now he's dead. We got a call from the American embassy this week. We're arranging a burial in Tunis. No one–not his son, not his daughter, not his brothers or sister–care enough to bring his body back to the state. There will be no funeral. There will be no flowers. No one will ever bother to visit his grave.

And so ends a life. He wanted nothing more than to feel like a success, to feel important. And so now he dies thousands of miles from home, with no one left to mourn him.
