I just wanted to make sure that everyone is aware of this limitation. I know Duty Finder roulettes are the best part of the game, and there literally is no other reason to even subscribe. It's important to let players know that you will NOT be able to engage with this insanely good content while playing Beastmage or Bluemaster.

Just to be clear: this means that you will NOT be able to do the following as a limited job:

* Interact with the Duty Finder community

* Get harassed by YPYT

* Explore hallways disguised as real places

* Carry an afk healer through a duty

* Single pull packs of mobs

* Overlap stack markers and wipe

* Teach level 100 White Mages what Holy is

* Experience the destruction of Alexandria daily

* Witness the power of Clemency on a 90% HP health bar

* Play either of the TWO Expert Roulette dungeons for the 93rd time (this means no Chort)

* Share screenshots of the chat on r/TalesFromDF

* Lose access to all of your abilities when you get a low level duty

* Bravely ignore mechanics that do no damage

* Breastmaster cannot enter dungeons higher than level 50 (including really fun ones like The Aery and Castrum Abania)

If you can stand to play FFXIV without these things, then I think you're safe to give limited jobs a try. Just don't say I didn't warn you.

Look, I'm happy that the Ranger's pig has finally entered the PvE meta on certain builds.

However, the F2 ability on the Pig is extremely weak and has been nerfed significantly in the 2023 pet buff rollout.

Previously, the pig would scavenge for a random item. It could give you super nice stuff like an 3 second invulnerability elixir, delicious eggs, etc, but now it just gives you a greatsword every time, which does less damage than a single auto attack. I cannot think of a single use for this ability other than to proc traits.

Buff our Pigs, Anet. You bastards. 🐷✊

Hello FFXIV community, game director Naoki Yoshida here.

It is with a heavy heart that I must announce the cancellation of the long-awaited Final Fantasy XIV Online: Dawntrail Beastmaster update. The team and I really wanted to get this content to you, our beloved players, but financial constraints have altered the course of our product development. To everyone at the studio's surprise, the Final Fantasy XIV Online: Dawntrail expansion was not well received, so we didn't get as much money as we expected. We cannot let our shareholders see this, so please look forward to more NPC wigs being sold on the Mog Station in the upcoming weeks.

However, I do promise on my truthful soul (I would never lie about anything, on god) that Beastmaster will come shortly after the launch of the Final Fantasy XIV Online: Evercold expansion (launching January 2027, probably). We anticipate it's arrival to come alongside the Indigo... the um... the blurble... blue... ah, yes... the Blue Mage update that was promised in the Final Fantasy XIV Online: Dawntrail expansion that was forcibly pushed back until after the release of the Final Fantasy XIV Online: Evercold expansion.

Please look forward to it, and don't unsub or I will demolish your house with my wrecking ball.
