Question about Dev options and root
Do dev options stay after disabling? And do apps that have root access still work after relocking the bootloader?

I need help. Can someone find an answer for the following problem: I can't do anytging in the app other than type. I can't even click a single thing outside the keyboard. I can't access my passwords properly. Is there any solution outside of wiping out all of the data?
This subreddit has been stagnant lately. Are you studying for your exams or tests? Are you on a trip to Japan or something? You haven't posted in a while there, and while I'm currently free to comment or post, you have beem dormant for 4 days straight. I understand if you accidentally forgotten about it, as I've done it a few times. Just let us know you're still here. Worse case scenerio, you're dead
Before you say "easy tutorial here", "easy tutorial there", I've tried to find one manually, and each method didn't work. Is it a MIUI problem? Does Google Pixel, and more improtamtly, CalyxOS, run it properly? If it still has most of the same big issues, then ill just uninstall Termux and purely use a Linux laptop/desktop with Kdenlive instead. If not, then tell me the best and easiest way with the best wording and clarifacation for each step. Why am I asking this? I want a FOSS video editor, but each time when it seemed close to find a loghtweight and pro video, I kept hitting a brick wall. All I asked for is just keyframes and overlays and maybe caption translation, and ill walk out, but each time I couldn't find one with both 2 features without it being proprietary. Can anyone help?
For me, having a FOSS and professional video editor seems easy enough. However, the internet says otherwise. I can't find an app that meets the bare minimum of my preferences: Keyframes (that affect position movement for a specific item) and overlays (an item on top of an item). The closest example I got was Miniter, but its keyframes don't support position, and it crashes many times. NovaCut seems to be a perfect exampke, but it's 300 mb of trash. Any suggestions?
I want a FOSS clouddrive app, but I wasn't able to find any Nextcloud clients myself. If there are alternatives other than NextCloud, I'm open to use them. I've tried OwnCloud, but I didn't understand the setup. I want an app with an easy setup process that's also around or under 15 mb. I know r/fossfroid exists but the sub doesn't give me any answers. Any suggestions?
Before we go, reccomend a lightweight terminal emulator. Then suggest a tutorial, a website, something that could help me in using this software the easiest way possible (alsp don't reccomend termux it's 200 mb)
I need help. It says it's scanned by Norton360, but some say it's unsafe. Is it really scanned by Norton, or is it what those some said?
I'm not sure if thi i just a MIUI problem conflicting with th app, but Litube fails to download a certain video sometimes, and even if it does, the audio loves to automatically convert to Japanese instead of my desired language. And I'm no Japanese speaker. I plan to switch to a Pixel. Does it break here?

The last time CoMaps updated kept saying 9th of May 2026, but it's now well into June. Is CoMaps bound to not work in the future? Is it really comnunity-driven? Is there a new official app to replace it? Should I go back to Organic Maps?
Apps I already have: Simple Notepad, Multiling O Keyboard, Karui, Little File Explorer, Little Music Player, Naked Browser, Audio Recorder, Media Browser, URLCheck, and webapps for Google Maps, Twitter, etc
For me, under 50 mb is lightweight, and I want a link-based YouTube downloader that's free. Seal and YTDLnis are above 60 mb for me, and Powertube doesn't work. Snaptube has confusing UI behavior, Tubemate requires an external app, Newpipe doesn't let you login, and Ymusic doesn't download to Android storage (at least not properly)
I am looking for any app or setting habit that saves battery effectively, improving my phone's life span, wether it'd be warnings, accurate estimates, hibernation, and more. I already use the battery saver mode and Greenify, but I'm looking for even more improvements. If it's an app, it should take up minimal space, 10 mb at max
