How do I evict someone from my brain

How do I evict someone from my brain

Things have been kinda off for me since June because of my boyfriend… well, ex-boyfriend now.

I got way too attached to him. In the beginning, it was all butterflies, cute moments, and me thinking “aww, maybe this is finally it.” 🤡

Except… he was never really emotionally available. Or honestly, available at all. I kept hoping things would get better, convincing myself that if I just gave it time, things would eventually change.

Spoiler: they did. Just not in the way I wanted.

He broke up with me over text, which honestly feels like the emotional equivalent of getting fired through a WhatsApp message.

And now I’m struggling to get over him way more than I thought I would. I’ve been drinking way more than I should just to shut my brain up for a while, and on top of that, I’ve got other things going on in life too.

So yeah, everything feels like 17 browser tabs open, one of them is playing music, I don’t know which one, and my laptop is overheating.

I know I’ll eventually get through it. I just wish my brain would stop romanticizing someone who barely showed up for me.

Anyway, currently accepting emotional support, coping mechanisms, and instructions on how to uninstall a person from my brain.

Just started my career in CAD/CAM — what should I actually build?

I’ve recently started my career working with CAD modelling + CNC/VMC programming, and I’m trying to build a portfolio that says I can actually make things rather than I watched 47 YouTube tutorials😂

I’m comfortable with Creo Parametric, Mastercam, CNC programming and VMC operations, but I’m wondering what projects would actually make a beginner/early-career portfolio stand out.

For the people working in CAD/CAM, CNC, machining, tooling, mould design, manufacturing, etc.:

* What projects would you recommend building?

* What kind of parts/models are worth showcasing?

* Should I focus on complex CAD models, moulds, assemblies, machining projects, or complete CAD → CAM → CNC workflows?

* Are there any personal projects you’ve built that genuinely helped you land interviews?

* What do recruiters/engineers actually want to see in a CAD/CAM portfolio?

Basically, if you had to build your portfolio from zero today, what would you make?

Bonus points for projects that can be made without owning a ₹50 lakh CNC machine. 😭

Would love some brutally honest suggestions.

What questions are usually asked in a CNC Programmer interview?

I’m preparing for an interview for a CNC Programmer role and wanted to know what kind of questions are commonly asked.

For those working as CNC programmers or who have recently attended interviews, could you share some questions you were asked?
